  1. Hoping to be there again this year but not sure about actually entering the show n shine - better let others have a go at winning LMAO :P :P :P
  2. This is actually me selling this I just couldn't log on and created a new account
  3. mfnick - nice to say hello on Sunday !! Hope to be seeing a few more of you at some of the events around and about :D
  4. Yay - my car !!! Yes it was a first. First person to retain the best in Show title at NBO. Nice to meet Nick on Sunday who came over to say hello !!!
  5. That'll be my car then lol :)Had a great day at NBO and to top it off got Car if the Day for a second year running!!
  6. Doesn't come out very often :D It's just been to Prodrive for The Final Gathering and i am at NBO on the 29th June 2014 :D
  7. Hi, not sure about the responses haven't had chance to read most of them but I have got the Hayward and Scott straight through system on my Hawkeye. Even without the cats it is not too noisy, I like to hear the sound but it is not as you say ear bleeding loud and it looks nice too it has a straight exit (I am not a fan of the slash cut / jap style exits). Yes a remap would be required if you are doing the decat route but £550 from Scoobyworld is a bit steep when you have to pay for the exhaust as well. I think I paid £300 for my remap
  8. Look out for me and give me a wave - I live in Atherton. Blue hawkeye reg MEL !!
  9. No still got the car (will be at NBO if you want to come for a chat). Airbrushing was done by a local artist for me but that is soon to be replaced ;) ;) We've been spending a bit on it again :o this year We've uprated the discs and brakes, had all underneath powdercoated, unprated the anti roll bars, gearbox h-brace, added Defi guages, uprated lightweight pulleys, changed the artwork ;) a few more shiny bits under the bonnet, added the zero sports intercooler splitter - which took an age to source as they dont make them in the UK anymore, had a custom built alloy battery box made (again in the USA) found some genuine pro-drive mudflaps (that is a whole new story though), pulled the boot build to bits and added a new amp, built a new lightweight sub box and then reinstalled it all Think that is about it :D NBO car of show last year, so was worth the effort !! :D :D :D
  10. Hi chaps, Just thought I would drop on and let you know a little about NBO. Yes it is like a large meet with individual clubs showing their cars on stands, there are a few retailers although not too many, it is £10 per car for entry to the field and this years charity ios the Childrens Air Ambulance. You can park up in the car park and just come and look at the cars/meet the clubs etc, or alternatively just go on all the rides at Lightwater valley, which I know you will not be interested in. If you turn up just to look and then want to put your car in the judging ring, it would cost you the field entry price of £10 plus normally £2 to put your car in the ring for judging - there are some awesome cars but the show ring is purely just a show and shine event - so get your cleaning rags out. Minimum number to have a club stand is 12. As you can tell I have been going for a while now - its a great day out and chance to swap notes/tips etc with other like minded individuals, just dont go expecting a big show with loads of retailers as you will be disappointed if you do. That said the retailers that do do are all pretty good ones and there is a variety polishing/cleaning stuff, car parts, tuning advice etc. If you decide to come over for the day (not with a stand) make sure you come over to the LADS stand and say hello to me ;) See you there !!! Mel
