My first Impreza
Hi Matt, I am not far from Peterborough. Does the club do much in the way of events?

Please help me select some new ICE.
Hi all, I am looking for some new sound for my Classic Impreza wagon. It has single din original stereo and original speakers. I want the best sound for a cheap price plus need to factor costs for someone fitting. Would need to be a single din head unit and would want it to have Bluetooth so I can use phone hands free with it etc. Don't mind about sub and amp etc. Just want a decent sound. Like good sound over loudness etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I had to select a budget I would say not much more than £200 including fitting. Although am prepared to pay more if worth it and needed.

A few Impreza electrical Issues
Yeah, have had a look under dash and only fuses there I think, replaced fuse already and no joy. Not sure of one in the boot. No idea where? Have tried to look. Thanks for replying.

How do I remove this head unit?

How do I remove this head unit?
Hi all, I want to remove this head unit but am not sure how. I am assuming some keys maybe? Not sure what sort though. New to all this sort of thing. Below is a picture, not great light. The surround comes off but no screws or anything can be seen. Many thanks.

A few Impreza electrical Issues
Well I replaced the mirror switch and they work fine now which is good. I cannot seem to find the relay for rear wiper. Below is a pic of my engine compartment relays. Not sure which one or where it is to check or change. Thanks.

A few Impreza electrical Issues
Many thanks for your advise. No I did not try the relay, would be a great start though!! Are relays easy to get hold off? Are they just standard from Halfords, no special sort of thing. I have a multi meter but need to learn to use it. Have the basics I think so will you tube how to use for make sure. I will have a look at the back of the stereo, how do I get the head unit out? I know super simple stuff and lots of questions but please bare with me. For a 31 year old fella pretty embarrassing having so little knowledge but really do appreciate the advice. Many thanks.

A few Impreza electrical Issues
Hi all, recently purchased a 2000 reg Subaru Impreza 2000 turbo and it has a few electrical faults I would like to sort. I am not very mechanical so need plenty of help. 1. Electric mirrors only move up and down on both sides. No side to side. I assume the switch is wrong so have ordered another from ebay but have no idea how to fit it. 2. Rear window wiper does not work. I have replaced the fuse but still does not work. No idea what to do next. 3. Stereo is original however does not work on passenger side or passenger side rear. Only sound comes from drivers side speakers. Again, no idea what to check. I would prefer to do what I can myself and would appreciate any help with any of these issues. Thanks.

My first Impreza
Cheers for the welcome guys. I joined another Scooby forum today as well as spend to much time online. Need plenty of advice so like to belong to the communities. Is there any sort of thread for general simple questions rather than starting a new topic for things?

My first Impreza
Hi all, I am new here with my first Impreza as pictured below. Its a 2000 reg Impreza 2000 turbo. I am not mechanically minded but love cars. Got the car a few days ago and needs a small amount of work but love it already. Tim Farmer mechanic lives local and will be coming to have a look and service it. I have heard good things about him. Needs a little body work doing to. Known faults so far are rear window wiper not working, tried replacing the fuse but no luck. Passenger and rear passenger side speakers not working. Still has original radio. In fact the whole car is original. There is plastic missing off the inner wheel arch. Not sure what this is called? I would like for the car to have aircon but this seems to be expensive although can source the parts for a reasonable cost. Need someone to fit it though. I enjoy forums and look forward to being part of this community.
