  1. Will give it a go, is there space on the club stand still? Cheers.
  2. Hi chaps, is this one still open for me and the family?
  3. Hi all, I am after a new stereo for my Forrester. I have the original in currently. I have upgraded speakers front and back plus a sub. Have two amps. One for sub and the other for speakers. Double DIN one required but want to use the steering wheel controls that are currently there. Any thoughts? Blue tooth and possible sat nav nice extras but not essential.
  4. Hello everyone, I am looking for a front bumper for my 05 Forrester XT 2.5 PPP. The very lower part on it has cracked a few times. Only so many times it can be patched up. Any thoughts and help welcome. Have not dared to ring Subaru yet.
  5. Lovely, I have a ticket then? I just need to sort the wife and kids out I take it. Sorry, brain dead at the moment.
  6. Cant remember if I have purchased one already?? Do however need tickets for Mrs and Kids aged 12 and 6.
  7. Hi guys, I am still about just not time for internet much with work and family etc. Been popping on occasionally. I am hoping to be here for this. I did book ages ago pretty sure. Hope you are all well. Take care. Phil.
  8. Done a few hundred miles in my Forester this week for work. Going to lose my licence at this rate though as overtaking is to much fun. (Safely of course.) Did notice while at the drive through for McDonalds the when idling it was making a weab, weab, weab noise. Sounds like a belt but it increases in frequency as I increase the revs. Don't really hear it driving at speed, just when stationary.
  9. I am waiting for my dash cam to arrive today for the Forester. Got in contact with the lorry company following my near miss, curbed wheel etc. Was a decent bloke actually. Apologised and said if I had the reg number and dash cam he would have paid for a wheel refurb. Typical!!! Considering this is a big fleet of lorries in my area there is little chance of identifying it.
  10. Have just paid so am good to go. Will sort ticket out for Mrs etc when I can. Only going for the Sunday for me though.
  11. A yes please from me and the Mrs. We can make it and would love to be there.
  12. Drove a few hundred miles in my Forester today. Shame it was wet. When at a train crossing temp gauge went up to near red again after 15 minutes stood still. Got home left for 30 minutes and not a movement in the gauge which is weird. On way home in my village two lorries were coming through a country lane speeding and I had to mount the curb damaging my alloys in the process. Not happy. Waiting for a call back from the lorry company. They had taken up so much of the road which is tight at the best of times.
  13. Do I need to remove the glovebox to see it? Any pics if someone would be so kind. Not great with these sorts of things.
  14. I want to know how to change my cabin filter on the forester? Easy job? Hope so.
  15. Today I drove my Forester for an MOT and it passed fully. Just as well considering had to fit a new headlamp yesterday. Did get an advisory for a slightly lose mudflap.
  16. Lovely and welcome.
  17. No idea where to suggest in your neck of the woods but there will be plenty about. Welcome to the forum.
  18. Hello and welcome. I too like wagons and have just sold my classic. I have a Forester however which is estate/wagon like. The green looks ace and wheel choice looks nice and niche. Stands out. Look forward to seeing it at a show with the rest of us if you like that sort of thing. Great bunch here. Lovely example.
  19. Welcome, great forum and great bunch of people here.
  20. I have recently used Tokyo Performance from ebay. Worth a shot maybe. Best to call or message though as they don't have everything on ebay.
  21. Been doing a little bit of stuff each day. Saturday Tim came round to replace Forester clutch and remove headlamp to check it out. Its knackered so ordered a replacement from ebay I had my eye on. Sunday I sold my Impreza :( Today I am sitting in waiting for the new headlamp to arrive and Tim is popping round later to fit it. Means I have had to take a day off work which is not great. MOT is booked in for tomorrow so fingers crossed. Anyway, lots of Tim Farmer doing stuff to my Scooby and not me but the thought is there.
  22. I am not keen on the classic as daily drive. I had been using mine as the daily driver and although fun it lacks comfort and refinement for anything but short journeys. I did know this to start with but not quite to the level after spending a few hours in one. For the occasional blast it is great though.
  23. £44 for a weekend pass I take it?
  24. Which one did I attend the other week at Santa pod? Was that japfest or japshow? Fest I thought. Mod Nat at Peterborough for 2016? Will certainly go there. Will also be going to Truckfest as a great show.
  25. Castle comb is far from me but if its worth it I will go for a weekender. Same goes for any show really.
