  1. I use photobucket.
  2. Yeah, appreciate the advice. I have 2 children already so that will be 3, 5 of us in total. I am pretty sure it would be a bit faster than my standard classic turbo impreza which is nice but happy with that performance but don't want anything slower. Is the 2.5 a standard flat 4 or 6 cylinder? I think I would sell the Impreza the more I think about it I got it. Shame but cant have everything. My Mrs thinks it looks like a hurst in black and lowered lol.
  3. Cheers Stants. Going to have a look at it tomorrow with Tim. Mrs wants me to sell the Impreza if I get it though which is a bit of a pain. I tried to compromise and get her to sell her C Max lol. One reason I started looking at the Forrester is after got Impreza found out Mrs is expecting plus I broke my back a few years ago and sometimes seize up. I struggle to get in and out then. Not keen on selling the Impreza as already had some work done to and more booked to get it tip top. Also only had it a few weeks and never looks good. May sell the Mazda 6 instead lol. As I say I am bad with decisions like this as like to many cars.
  4. is the 2.5 less reliable or cause any more issues than the 2.0? Tim has confirmed he would check it over for me and take a look etc. To tempting lol.
  5. I am a sensible driver but like to have power for occasional use and safe overtaking etc so MPG would be ok I think. Getting ok ish out of the Impreza. Appreciate the input. Looks like it has spent a bit of time with Scoobyclinic by the printout. Performance sounds nice. Air con and a few internal luxury's over the Impreza make it appeal to me although would keep both if I were to get it. Will sleep on it.
  6. Yeah, I could afford it. I think Tim would go with me as only 20 minute drive from him. I would of course ask. He has already seen the advert and responded saying it appeared nice from the advert but that says nothing I know. Seems an honest seller and like the interior. I am not good with decisions though at all, ponder for such a long time and when I go and see it I know I would fall in love assuming it is sound after an inspection and would buy. Would probably then regret though sometimes. Don't want to many fuel suckers lol.
  7. Hi all, I am tempted to take a look at this Forester. I have a 2008 c max which I am not keen on plus a Mazda 6 and Impreza. Fancy swaping the c max and like this a lot plus close to me. Tim Farmer lives really close to me so struck up a good relationship with him to look after my Impreza. Just not sure, Terrible with decisions in general but looks nice minus a few issues. Hope its ok to post the link. Not my car at all. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221901843613?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  8. Hi all, looking for an impreza manual so I can do some stuff myself. Assuming Haynes is the one to go for but wanting to check there are no better options. Thanks all.
  9. And the ad looks nice with a reasonable price as well in my opinion. Worth a look for sure.
  10. Hello and welcome.
  11. They are pretty visable straps so will paint them with hammerite. I take it they look ok matt?
  12. Maybe some black hammerite type paint them. Are they removable?
  13. Hi all, a couple of issues. Pictured below is a fitting strap type thing that has gone rusty. I ideally want to replace or if not replace do up. Does anyone have any advice? Also, another picture below shows I have moisture in the light? Is it possible and simple to remove the moisture? I am planning on getting some spares but wanted to know if this is doable. As always, thanks all.
  14. I fancy this although not sure if to short notice. Would be with the family and the Scooby wagon. I guess all the club spaces are taken now though?
  15. Main point for me is location. Don't really want to travel more than a couple of hours with family. Other than that I will go to as many shows as I can. I have struggled to find info on the site about them but have not looked to hard yet.
  16. I was considering a Goodyear Efficient Grip and they have good reviews and are rated quiet.
  17. I know this is not a good suggestion but was considering wearing headphones when I wanted to listen to music in the car. I am aware of the issues and risks though so will not.
  18. Sorry for sounding thick but whats this about? I love shows and will come along to one if not to far away.
  19. How come an aftermarket exhaust? What would be better about it? I sometimes like to listen to music while driving and a reasonable quality. Appreciate all views.
  20. It has a standard exhaust and it does not have a removable shelf but instead a roller blind type cover. These are generally not as quiet as a proper type parcel shelf. I think I will leave it as it is and get used to it. Thanks for replies.
  21. It does have some cheap ish Avon tyres on. I also know that estates/wagons are more noisy. Trim is a little noisy but not bad and the engine is fine, I like that sound.
  22. Ok, will take a look. I like the engine noise but road noise is pretty loud. I am ok with it. Assume the wagon is harder to keep quiet anyway.
  23. Hi all, simple question I hope. Will a decent sound system cover up the general Scooby noise. My classic is loud inside. Engine sounds nice but the road noise itself is loud. I sometimes like this but at times would like to listen to something else. Would a good sound system take the other noises away. Normally drive modern cars which are super quiet so new to me. All and any thoughts welcome.
  24. I am thinking replacing it may be to big a job for me. As it goes into the roof space from the tailgate.
  25. Thinking I may repair it instead. Should I use? This http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4MM-WINDSCREEN-WASHER-HOSE-JOINER-PIPE-CONNECTOR-INLINE-REPAIR-5-32-/351004060714?hash=item51b978ec2a or this http://www.halfords.com/motoring/paints-body-repair/adhesives/harris-pipe--hose-repair-tape-25mmx3m
