  1. Been doing a little bit of stuff each day. Saturday Tim came round to replace Forester clutch and remove headlamp to check it out. Its knackered so ordered a replacement from ebay I had my eye on. Sunday I sold my Impreza :( Today I am sitting in waiting for the new headlamp to arrive and Tim is popping round later to fit it. Means I have had to take a day off work which is not great. MOT is booked in for tomorrow so fingers crossed. Anyway, lots of Tim Farmer doing stuff to my Scooby and not me but the thought is there.
  2. I am not keen on the classic as daily drive. I had been using mine as the daily driver and although fun it lacks comfort and refinement for anything but short journeys. I did know this to start with but not quite to the level after spending a few hours in one. For the occasional blast it is great though.
  3. £44 for a weekend pass I take it?

    Halloween

I only had 1, live in a busy village.
  5. Which one did I attend the other week at Santa pod? Was that japfest or japshow? Fest I thought. Mod Nat at Peterborough for 2016? Will certainly go there. Will also be going to Truckfest as a great show.
  6. Castle comb is far from me but if its worth it I will go for a weekender. Same goes for any show really.
  7. I have a bit of a patchy face when it grows so need to shave. Thick growth though means most electric just don't do the job. Current rotary does a good job of tearing the hairs out one by one.
  8. I would have got a cloth if there was a deal on but a bit strapped so had to choose between the two. Had also ordered a DA and some other bits from CYC on the same day.
  9. Have done also, how old are they? Look young, if so good one and well done on being successful either way.
  10. Hi all, I wet shave some time but with working etc need a decent electric shaver for the face. I recently got one but feel my facial hair is to coarse for it to be effective. In short its naff. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-Shaver-Blades-PT720-17/dp/B004XIB9V4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1445886161&sr=8-1&keywords=shaver The above is the one I have which I don't like. Any ideas or suggestions?
  11. I ordered a clay mitt as well, better that than breaking my back with a piece of clay.
  12. I would not mind tucking into an Italian in London for the night :0
  13. I would without a doubt have a word. Having a similar issue around my way with a opposite neighbour. Second time they dog was out I went and knocked on the blokes door. He is a ruff fella but said it was his daughter who sometimes let the dog out and apologised. I accepted his apology and have not seen the dog in the past few weeks. He does also let it off the lead on a walk etc. If he had not complied I would have told him my actions with full force. Video or photo the offending dog. Report in writing with evidence of said offending dog to council and RSPCA. Continue to photo or film and also take from there. Unfortunately final option from me would be unpleasant for the dog owner. Good luck whatever you choose.
  14. Agree with others about no bother with Court action. I have a bit of experience and it would be very difficult to gain judgement in your favour. All the defendant has to prove is they have little mechanical knowledge and can get away with nearly anything. It would depend on a number of factors though such as how long the seller owned the car, how much they drove it, knowledge etc. I of course do not know the full situation but you would need deep pockets. I appreciate your comments and feel sorry for your lad. An expensive lesson.
  15. Put some new wipers on the Forester. As its a sunny day I looked at the Forester and Impreza and thought "they need a clean." Went back in the garden for a beer.
  16. Nice looking car by the Pic. Hairdryer for certain on the sticks then a dedicated tar and glue automotive remover. WD40 can work but not a kind on the paintwork. If your son is a body guy it should be easy enough. Where bouts in Norfolk are you? Seem to have a few members in Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. I live in Cambridgeshire but the border to Norfolk is 1 mile from me and Lincolnshire border about 10 miles.
  17. Lovely cars so enjoy it. Seems to fit your bill well so good luck and welcome.
  18. No worries, will sort something. Got a 270bhp Forester as well. Mrs wants the Impreza to go but trying to resist a bit.
  19. Was Born in Lynn, now close to Wisbech. Between Wisbech and March. 40 mins from Dersingham.
  20. Nice looking wagon. Where bouts in Norfolk are you? I am not far from Kings Lynn. Got family there etc and Norwich.
  21. Welcome, a have a classic wagon. Very nice indeed. Look forward to seeing pics.
  22. Agree with the above comments from Rich and Matt. Probably far away but I have a classic needing minimal work (under body only.) and fully inspected, serviced and checked out by a Subaru professional which I am being convinced to sell by my Mrs. I have already been offered a price but considering your situation I would sell it to you at rock bottom price and cut my losses to help you. Surprisingly a car purchase company has offered me a great price for it and have had it up on the ramp etc for full inspection by there mechanic. Sad part is they have said to me they can nearly double there money by breaking it for parts.
  23. Did not see all the details about owned for 3 months and distance. If was aware of those points would have advised to stay away.
  24. Nice sounding motor. Seems a good cost and if owned by a mechanic and MOT tester should be sound unless he is dodgy of course. Insurance should not be a bother at all. Worth a look.
  25. Was just not sure if I would feel it.
