Hi guys having a big problem with my car atm infect been off the road for 5 days, iv changed the cambelt and i got 1 with the lines on so i couldn't get it wrong, now this is not the first time iv done the cambelt on 1 of these so im almost certen that its gone back on right in fact iv checked it 4 times now also using the marks on the cams. So it comes to starting it and the car will fire once and then not again, and the only time it will fire again is when the ecu has been disconnected for some time and then reconnected any help as this point would be amazing as im on the edge of giving up and the car means alot to me thanks, Phill Subaru Impreza V1 WRX 1993 with ESL

yes but they are like hen's teeth and quite expensive, seen a couple on ebay before .

Thay will do something call a leak test wich is done in a vacuum at -1bar wich is not good enough to find small laeks if you find a specialist thay should do a pressure test at 10bar with ofn if you go back to kwik fit dont let them put die in it as some dies will f**k the compressor Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk

No sound like you have a leak if all the gas has leaked out the pump/compressor will not engage you need someone to find the leak someone that knows what thay are doing Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk

Your best bet is take the connector off and earth it tern the key but dont start if the light is on then its probably the sender thats at fault so a new 1 should fix it Sent from my GT-I8190 using Tapatalk

I do all my own brakes and tbh there is no need for any of that as long as can stop the car without the peddle hitting the floor then normal driving will set them up fine now I don't mean doing 77mph and expecting it to stop in 5sec but in about a week or so of normal driving thay should be back to normal Sent from my GT-I8190 using Tapatalk
