  1. Pro R, Ebc Tarrox, Brembo ect. I have run both Tarrox and EBC discs on my cars not much to choose between them, currently running EbC turbo Groved Discs and EBC red Stuff Pads. Pad wise, EBC, Padig, Miltec all get good feed back. Got the last set form http://www.Larkespeed.com and before that from http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com
  2. Shame he hasn't got any bit for the hatch, unless the alternator belt cover would fit. Only other bit I'd be interested in is the intercooler cover and 1 metallic sticker.
  3. Welcome to the club. My front fog stopped working, when I checked the blade connectors both had green corrosive gunk on them, I cleaned them with Vinegar, yes fish and chip vinegar :) . Got all the gunk off and they were fine.
  4. I can't make it :( Roll on next season :)
  5. I work for Sky they are even Better :p
  6. yeah Virgin is great for Broadband but **** for everything else. Jay I can supply you the Full Sky HD Package for £25 per month for 25 months. Canel the account you have now and resign up in the a differnet name, Ie the missus. Sky are upgrading to Fibre as we speak, so give it time and Sky will have a minimum of 20mg Fibre nationwide.
  7. HAHAHA Arsenal Fans leaving Anfield with 30 mins still to play.
  8. They have been setting up those stop and check things on the A316 between Iselworth and Hospital Bridge roundabout for years now, don't think they have a system for who to stop and it should be random. Unless the system shows you as no Tax, insurance or mot, the other thing would the system showing anything suspicious related to the car or known drivers. At least that's the impression all the traffic cop programmes give. Having said that if it was the same bunch of coppers each time then I would start to question why always me. At least they are getting the uninsured of the roads. Tbh I think you have just been unlucky.
  9. If I use the wheel I go MT, just with pad you'll lose out more if you miss shift gears. I mucked up so many laps on the Top Gear challenge doing that with the pad I went back to AT
  10. AT for me, when ever I use MT I always go down when I want to up Thanks for having a look, I have to wait till sat eve before I can have a look.
  11. Yeah but it's still too much hassle to find some where to run it to practice and not get any complaints about the noise, also not many clubs locally to me run IC.
  12. That's run of bad luck, glad to see it hasn't put you off Scoobs :) Welcome to the club.
  13. As much as I'd love an IC car they are too much hassle and mess for me. Me and a mate spent months deliberating over an HPI savage each and decided not to in the end. In fact I don't have any thing larger than 1/28th at the moment, have been toying with the idea of a 1/10 brushless touring car and rejoining the local club. Don't seem to really be that interested otherwise I'd have got one by now.
  14. If it was a coolant issue I would expect a smell more like hot metal rather than a burning smell. It is quite pungent? If so may be clutch. That may be slipping under hard acceleration. If it was the exhaust I reckon the bumper would have warped out of shape or caught fire. Have you got heat wrap? That can smell and steam a bit if it get wet then hot. I detailed the engine bay and that smelt of detergent when it got warm. Have you got wind?
  15. ITV has a 3 part series starting tonight 8pm on the history of the BTCC. Trailer on Youtube Should be worth a watch.
  16. Fully upgraded Transit with the Falcon V8. Class S636. no tuning, 2nd lap in it on the ring. I was clean upto the corkscrew, got spat out and lost the back end which gave me a dirty lap :( then a bit later where you hit that massive bump just before the right hand bend and it sent me wide on to the grass, the rest of the lap was clean and I got a 9:13.228. That van is a beast, if one side of the back goes light under power you'll be facing the other way if your not quick.
  17. I'll send them over now Stanton and Gambit. Can't get the multiquote to work.
  18. Not using the wheel and pedals, although I do have a piece of rubber under the brake to simulate the real brake pedals resistance :D
  19. They are going to be 2-3 weeks del. Will prob fit them and the brakes in one go and have the wheels all year round.
  20. Went for Alleggrita HLT Race Gold, EBC Turbo Grooved Discs, Redstuff Pads total of £1897 deliveed which isnt bad. The wheels were £70 cheaper than anywhere else. Bought them all from http://www.larkspeed.com/
  21. :( can't afford the Rays C28N's at nearly 3k with tyres they are well out my budget.i have decided on OZ Alleggerita HLT's. Not too sure on colour yet. Titanium. Matt Grapite or Race Gold.
