  1. I might have a voltmeter about somewhere. Will have to locate it. Think it could be a bad wire. Noticed some electrical tape around it. Probably has to do with when they connected the rear fog light in...wonder if it's messed with the wiring.
  2. Ordered another Walbro fuel pump...
  3. Right, so my driver side rear tail light is out. Pulled the bulb which looked fine, but I replaced it anyways. Still not working? Any ideas? Checked the fuse as well and that looked ok.
  4. As title states, is there a way to disconnect the passenger airbag? Still haven't put my rear seats back in yet and need to get the bairn to the childminders when I go to work. Was thinking of just putting him in the front, but would need to disable the airbag? Any easy way to do t other than ripping the dash or and disconnecting? (Pull a fuse?)
  5. From what I've read, injectors (to compensate for the extra fuel output) and pump are the only things needing changed. Someone made something ridiculous like 356whp and over 400lbs of torque on basic mods (pump, injectors, exhaust with decat basically). It was just an idea, and it's a flex fuel pump so it can take either ethanol or pump fuel. You could have 2 tunes done, one on pump fuel one on ethanol and only use ethanol at a track, which would keep your costs down. Worth an extra £30? Probably. However, if I can get this pump for £60, then is it worth the extra £70? No probably not. Would just upgrade if I ever decided to go down that route.
  6. Right who's game? and who's paying for me? 😂 5 days, 8 countries driving some of the best roads throughout Europe. https://www.thegentlemansjolly.com/grandtour2017
  7. Glad you're ok bud. Hoovered the car out and finally got around to cleaning the dog fur off haha.
  8. Apparently Morrison's sold it, but not anymore? It's never taken off here apparently. It's everywhere in Sweden I've heard. Think I might of got a cracking deal on a Walbro unit from a legit place. £60 new.
  9. Oh there's also the Aeromotive 340lph as well, but it's about £130.
  10. Right, so looking at new pumps, again, and tempted to see about getting something that can support E85...or am I wasting my time with the lack of it in the UK (is it even sold here?). Been reading up on it and saw some ridiculous numbers on the stock turbo 😬 Basically got it narrowed down to the following (have to say the AEM is tempting to try) non E85 compaitables...AEM and Walbro both do a E85 compatible version with the AEM coming in at £112. Walbro 255lph (£75): http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/fuel-pumps/walbro-gss342-high-pressure-fuel-pump AEM 320lph (£88): http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/fuel-pumps/aem-electronics-320lph-high-flow-in-tank-fuel-pump RCM 340lph (£114): http://rogerclarkmotorsport.co.uk/store/product/24-rcm-uprated-fuel-pump-1992-2008 Help? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Yep that's the one I'm interested in seeing. No turbo for the BRZ STI though?
  12. Yeah that's my plan after I tune it...
  13. Alpine or Pioneer can't go wrong. Alpine if you've got ££££ if you're buying new. Traded for that mechless, no DAB but I doubt I'll miss it if I'm honest. Have to have a awful looking antenna mounted on your glass somewhere to get decent reception.
  14. Yeah it's in the fuel tank. You're thinking of the fuel pressure regulator? It's easy to do, just a bit of a pain to get it out as the hole is small. Just be careful not to bend the float arm. If you need help I can probably help. Takes a screwdriver, 8mm and some pliers. Maybe a hour or so max? Just make sure you disconnect the battery before doing it as well 😊
  15. Just checked it there on comparethemarket.com Admiral, no box £840 for the year. I'm in the North seats, NE post code...
  16. I got a quote for £750 I think for the year (could be £900 can't remember) with Admiral with one or two mods, but nothing ridiculous. My wife is older than me, and has the no claims (15+ years). She's got a company car so I used her no claims to put me as main driver on my 06 STi. Also put her Mam down (who will never drive the car) on policy as it lowered the premium even more. Not too bad considering I've never driven a "performance car" in the UK and have 1 accident (my fault) back in 2013 (I think?). Plus I have 2 claims (£1000 each, 2017) in from my stepdaughter getting her car through my work vandalised which is annoying...
  17. Haha found that info on loads of things. If you look at the differences, my 06/07 scoop has 5 fins in it, @david1972 only had 3 in his blob WRX, and I can't remember what @Hudson or @Fastboy67 had as I just remember theirs being taller.
  18. ...bit early for fish and chips mind, but whatever wets your noodle! 😉😂 aye my lass wouldn't open it up if I let her drive it, and I doubt she would want to haha
  19. So after noticing today with @Fastboy67 @Hudson @david1972 decided to research the scoops as a few of the Blob STi ones looked massive compared to my hawk! Came across that 06/07 STi/WRX scoops are the same. You do not need a new scoop. The reason is that the 06/07 scoop is smaller is that the new front end has different aerodynamic properties, which allows better airflow through a smaller scoop. It is not a stylistic reason or any other. Just thought it'd be helpful for anyone else wondering! 😊
  20. I was admiring them as well. Think you can wire them in.
  21. Slide the new mechless radio in quickly before meeting up with a few of the lads @david1972 @Fastboy67 @Hudson At the Angel of the North. Good few hours chatting and got some photos (!Removed! bus! Haha) Nice to meet you lads! Shame the weather wasn't a little bit weather but it is a bank holiday after all. My favourite photo is of all the wings! Snagged a few cheeky photos of David as well on the way out in the mirror too haha. Just wish they were zoomed in a bit more.
  22. Right lads (and lasses if there are any). Little impromptu meet up at the Angle of the North at 2pm! Come if you can make it!
  23. Andy is up near Edinburgh. East Levonia I think it's called. He travels though as well if you can get multiple cars I think.
  24. Nothing firm yet mate. Kinda waiting to figure out what my lass has planned. She probably won't be too keen on me going out. Was in the dog house yesterday for taking too long at Revolution with @Fastboy67 😂 Also need to see what @Hudson is doing 😉
  25. Definitely a car port @mfnick. I'm having similar issues with pollen at the moment. Nightmare. Cars absolutely disgusting inside and out, ask @Fastboy67 as I met up with him yesterday for a blast to Revolution. Had to contain ourselves nearly dropped £££££s on coilovers kits! @savage bulldogs you'll have to add me on the PS4 so we can all have a game of battlefield @Sirspidey Pioneer head unit, trading a guy for a mechless Pioneer today hopefully
