  4. omg, don't tell her she's over weight! that'll be your holiday spoilt!
  5. you need to try some of this, designed for black and dark coloured cars http://www.angelwax.co.uk/?wpsc-product=dark-angel I use the DRIFT, which is for white cars :)
  6. I've got all this fun to come then :)
  7. cool, thanks, where did you get the HELLA'S from? The wiring loom from Subimods is just plug and play. I should be able to get the 'old' horn off if I remove the front grille... the bumper if I have too ;) fitting guide is here btw.. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6PVO04w4sKKQnA4MXA5aU43UlU/edit
  8. They're doing 10% off too for the 4th July. Ends today I think. Delivered they've cost under 90 including the plug and play wiring loom and custom made fixing bracket that only they do.
  9. I've ordered these.... http://www.subimods.com/hella-supertone-horn-kit.html and had some new style mud flaps arrive from performance creations on Friday for my car :)
  10. ^^ what he said. or get a back box made from exhaustsUK in sheffield, with not much wodding in the rear silencers to get it a bit louder. you might need a re map just in case though.
  11. I dream about my car with scratches!! my wife says I have to get a life!! I've had three hours today trying to get the worst ones out using the Menz400sf. BTW, I've ordered some HELLA tones + wiring harness + bracket ... as it makes them Plug&Plug, from www.Subimods.com :) How To Guide will follow when they arrive ;)
  12. done another of these today.. + another DA polish with Menz400sf I'm going a bit paranoid about the scratch I can see in my paint work.. not swirls as I've 99% got those out, these are more like polish scratches. You only see them in some light and if you look across the paint work at a certain angle. am I going OCD?
  13. alloys are Prodrive GT2's 19". TBH I'm not that happy with the paint work on the car, I can see scratches in it, so will have to go over the car again with a dencer Hex Pad (orange) and a thicker compound, the Menz 400. and see if I can improve it. As last week I only polished up with a Black Hex finishing pad and Menz 4500 finishing polish. Think I might be going a bit OCD on the slight scratches I see though, but they do annoy me. when you think how clean and waxed the car is they are letting it down. DA Daz6Pro polisher off Detailing World at £99 is a great price Pete
  14. the size14 girl.. hubba hubba, bouncy in all the right places
  15. and I thought wickedweasel was bad http://wickedweasel.com/en-gb lol
  16. the sunday was the final gathering, when you had teh polo shirts and stickers :) and sun
  17. all STi's from a subaru dealer in the Uk with be TypeUK? Then you could have the option of PPP fitted to it. If you get a STi in the Uk thats not Type UK, you'll find it;s a 'dutch' import. As these cars have the same spec interior as a 330s.. but had a 18" multi spoke alloy (that looks like a BBS alloy) Obviously if you get a Jap import STi specC they'll have 2litre engines
  18. news to me then. as I understand it.. if you bought a STi in the uk from a dealer they are TypeUk anyway (like STi v7 TypeUK etc - the first STi to be sold in the UK via the IM dealers), as it's not a JDM import STi. with the option of the PPP on the STi, some dealer tried selling them as a 330R. the 330s was a Prodrive 'tuned' officially branded car for/by Subaru. Rear Tints, push button entry + start. SatNav/DVD player, Recaro. When I rang for insurance they all said they have listed as 'standard' cars the STI & the 330s. If I said it was the STi with PPP they class that as a modification.
  19. Pete DA polisher is the DAZ6Pro, goup buy on Detailing world... delivered £99. Then you need to buy the pads.. polish compound etc etc lol it's a mind field what's best to use lol bead shot
  20. I say nine hours, but I did stop at lunch time to wax oil my dining room floor and have some lunch.. then got back to it lol (so say more 8 hours car cleaning). I snow foamed, rinsed, washed, rinced, clay bar'd, snow foam, micro fibre washed down, snow foamed, rinced, micro fibre towel dried, DA polished using Menz 4500, panel at a time and buffed up with micro fibre noodle mitt and micro fibre cloth then waxed it used MER (as I wanted something easy to apply and polish/buff off). AutoFinesse Finale detail spray on teh wrap roof, as its wax free and leaves a matt finish. 'Mothers' Tyre Shine. engine bay cleaned up and polished with AutoGlym Vinyl/Rubber spray cleaner. Really pleased how the R205 rear defusser spolier looks that I fitted on Monday last week. Plates back on.. ready for a drive :) thanks for looking
  21. STi's came on 17's - 300bhp ish (you can have the PP fitted on this, it would be classed a modification for insurance tho) STi 330s had 18's - 325bhp ish if a UK car it will be a TypeUK On the link for the dark Gray car above, it looks like a non standard exhaust back box, would like to know if it's been changed.... if so has the car had a re map to allow for the change on exhaust.
  22. not sure either, how about trying a breakers yard to get a replacement ?
  23. Along with the R205 rear defusser ordered from JapanParts.com, I ordered the Black side trims like what's also on the STi R205 (JDM) cars and the ORANGE WRX & STi saloon (in the USA) Here's my idiots guide to fitting them. #1 (you might need to take off your mud flaps if fitted). Pop off the side trim panel, they snap off as they're fitted with those pop fasteners. #2 I used a shape bladed knife to carefully cut through the double sided tape that holds the Chrome STi trim on. #3 Double sided sponge tape will be left behind. #4 I used a flat blade screw driver to ease off the thick part ofthe sponge double sided tape. That leaves a thin layer of the sticky stuff behind. Petrol on a cloth softens this up and you can use your finger nail to carefully scrape if off, then keep wiping with teh petrol on the cloth gets rid of any last bits of the sticky glue stuff. Then I cleaned up the area with car polish ;) #5 The easy fitting bit now, remove the backing tape and line up the new BLACK GARNISH TRIM and stick in place. #6 Push back the side panel trim till all the poppers are snapped back into place. #7 Refit the mud flap (if fitted) then stand back and admire. Fitting time, about 45mins for both sides. It all depends how easy you can remove teh sticky stuff off the panel trim when you remove the old Chrome STi side garnish. I hope you find this of interest and not too sad ;)
  24. I also ordered the black STi side garnishes at the same time. the whole lot including Postage from japan and a paypal fee and the VAT/import duty + Handling fee from Parcel Force. just under £400. the rear spoiler is 37k Yen, if that helps ;0 (about £220)
