  4. The fog and reverse light no problem to do on the car. Dead easy. The sides, removed the cluster and disconnected it, then re fitted it to apply main part of it. Then removed it to shape side and trim down. Then put it back in place to apply more pressure to get the edges down. A quick blast of the hair dryer allows you to get creases out as you lift and re apply, use a spray of soapy water too! Sent from my ST23i using Tapatalk
  5. Its a bugger to do. Sent from my ST23i using Tapatalk
  6. guess what I did all night till gone midnight!! warm the stuff up you can pull it about to get it to shape round the curve of the rear side light cluster. :)
  7. don't get hung up on the piston/ringland issue. it's an issue on all 2.5 models.... hawk and Hatch. but not everyone fails. you only hear about the 'problem' from ppl when they happen. wrong fuel used, bouncing off the red line, not serviced regular etc are all factors that can cause it. touch wood & famous last word.... my car is fine 5yrs old now. I'm still under subaru warranty (only cost £608 this yr, so a no brainer really). worst case scenario, throw £5k-ish at the car, gets it all sorted and you'll see 400bhp easy. £5k is a fraction of the cost it would cost me to change the car for something thats not as good as what I have. Plus.. plenty spend on their car and spend more than that on stuff they don't need anyway
  8. Hi and welcome, make sure it is a 330s that you look at and not a Euro Import... (as they have the same interior with push button start + tints - but they have BBS alloys instead of the 5spoke )

  21. Where serviced it last. Might be worth ringing them. Sent from my ST23i using Tapatalk
  22. Let me get this right. You've bought a high performance car and don't know if it's had a build or not. If it has you don't know by who! And the previous owners doesn't know? Bells ringing alarm. Comes to mind for me! When I bought my 330s I knew where it originally was sold new. Owners had had it from new and px at Subaru dealer where I bought it from. Car had full Subaru service history. As it does. Did you buy at a good price? Sent from my ST23i using Tapatalk
  23. Who did the build? Sent from my ST23i using Tapatalk
  24. Don't like the sound of that. Is it using a lot of water? Check compensation over flow tank when car is cold. Ideally over night. It should be half full. Are you using up more oil than usual? Post same question on www.m-soc.com Kevin from Scooby clinic should answer you on there. Sent from my ST23i using Tapatalk
  25. Can't say I've seen any other white 330s' about in Nottm.... was it bought private or at a trader? is it running on Vpower? Get it to ScoobyClinic at Chesterfield or Carnetix at Melton to get checked out. A guy on MidlandScoobies had bought a white STi hatch, it had had a ss zort and induction kit fitted.... but never had a re map!!! the car ran like pants.
