  1. I bought some of this last week I've already got AngelWax's Bilberry Alloy wheel cleaner and their QED detailing spray so know how good their stuff is already... I purchased these from the Wax Stock Show at Peterborough last year. It designed for white cars http://www.angelwax.co.uk/?wpsc-product=drift and has a property to remove slight skate makes in your paint work... so they say ;) So yesterday I snow foamed my car, washed, clay bar'd and re washed.. micro fibred towel dried.. then get my car back in my garage before the rains came. My idea is that I can spend an hour or so waxing a panel at a time in the dry :) so tonight was my first hour... all I did was the bonnet, two wings and the bumper. All done by hand. applied wax polished off... Bonnet polished , wing waiting to be wax/polished. all front end now polished up Conclusion: So far so good. It's a quality wax and you can tell when you apply it it's not the stuff that will be washed off after a couple of car washes. Applying it, it feels greasy (that'll be the wax then lol ). Polishing off isn't the easiest wax I've had to polished off, but it does feel really nice to the touch when you feel what's been done. Proof of how good my car will look will be when all the car's all done and I get it back outside to see how she looks.. and how she beads up when it rains :D ps: I now want a electric polisher to make it a bit easier to wax my car
  2. £50 for quick sale. (+ Postage) or collect from Nottm. as they weigh a lot! covered no more than 24k miles then I upgraded to Prodrive/Eibach set up

  9. funny you should say that, I only had 6 clips sent, so I emailed them and they sent me two more out. 2 are needed per window. once i saw the fitting video off their website i knew how to fit them and mine are fine :) better pic
  10. the original ones were like this.. the new ones I've fitted are three 5050 smd bulds.. a lot brighter than the 6 LED bulbs I used before.
  11. re fitted my DayTime Running lights this evening. my LED ones have lasted 18months, then a couple of the LEDs have gone out. so tonight I re fitted some 5050smd DRL and they are so much brighter than the other LED I had before. these come on when I start the car as I took a feed off the cigarette lighter 12v power.
  12. hobby :) blinkin lamp posts were in the way of the shots I wanted to do with the demolished school in the back ground. I did have time to set tripod up and use remote flash triggers to get the flash gun to fire inside the car (with a yellow film over lay on it) more of my photo sets are here... http://www.flickr.com/photos/neoquip/sets
  13. some more shots taken this evening... had to sweet talk the security guard on the demolition site to allow me take photos from inside so you can see the how it looks for all my photos look at www.flickr.com/neoquip
  14. It's only taken me 12 months to get my head around getting it done, but now it's done I'm really pleased. I first thought of going carbon wrap... but now after all this time of thinking about it I opted for the more classy SATIN/MAT wrap. I also had my sunstrip removed and had it re done slightly deeper with the same material as the roof. Looks so much better IMO. with my original Black gloss sunstrip with a pink STi logo on it.... Paul @ www.PWPRO.co.uk in Mansfield did the work, very good on price and quality is 2nd to non. After seeing some 'ruff' wraps it put me off having mine done, but once I saw the quality of Paul and his staffs work, I felt confident they were the right people to handle my car :) Dropped the car off at lunch time today and collected it later this afternoon. Pix taken at home, bit of a bummer it rained so I could get so better shots this evening.. oh well.. roll on the NBO :) I know it's not everyone's taste but I like it. With it being a wrap it easily can come off in a few years if I want to.
  15. Keith Michael's, ask for Gary, he deals with scooby policies
  16. I drop down to STi 17" rims over winter, so going larger brakes would stop me doing that :( Scooby-1 by salsa-king, on Flickr Ashby Folville April 2013 by salsa-king, on Flickr
