  1. as long as the fob is sync'd to the ECU for the immobiliser/keyless entry. Even if someone has a key, its not going to be driven away.
  2. Ian is a top bloke, give him a try http://www.performancecreations.co.uk/subaru-18-c.asp
  3. come find me then :) show me your overlays ;)
  4. might be worth a try. Nottm Subaru Derby (Beechwood) Subaru might be worth seeing who offers club discounts, I know the above do for MidlandScoobies memebers
  5. like this.. without the sticker on it lol http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=22350 you see the hoop on the right? just next to it on the left is a little chrome clip... you side it to the side and the key is in there
  6. best i can find if the cover over it http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=45193 it has a chrome little knob on the end you press and the key comes out, just in case you have a flat key fob baterry etc. then you can disarm the alarm by the press button key pad in the car. You know about the Key Pad?
  7. yep, you're being stupid.. in a nice innocent way though. ;) was your Fob a chucky thing with three buttons on it? Open/Boot/Close? If i can find a pic I'll post it up.. later
  8. a quick blast of heat!!! are you at Prodrive next week?
  9. yep I know, :) I didn't have a problem with mine as it stretches as you give it a bit of heat. But after what was said I did ask Dan to give some more bleed to it and he added about an inch. Can you work with it easier?
  10. what a night mare. how much for new keys to be cut?
  11. Pete, the set I'm sending you today have more 'bleed' on them for the side clusters, just check they look the same red as what you have, or re do all with this new set. did you fit one and mess up, or had you already done them and messed up on one part of it?
  12. I've got some more sets shipped put them on ebay, buy one set, here they are http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-STi-Hatch-2008-on-rear-light-red-overlays-ONE-set-/291156774956?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item43ca4bd02c or buy two sets http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-STi-Hatch-2008-on-rear-light-red-overlays-TWO-sets-/291157048400?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3ASubaru&hash=item43ca4ffc50

  17. i'm not 100% sure about the rear quarters, looks very volvo and smooth, not aggressive enough IMO
  18. Do you need a re map with a dump value fitted? Sent from my ST23i using Tapatalk
  19. have you some pictures? if you put the other one back on, does it stop?
  20. my winter alloys.. 17" STi 114pcd My summer alloys 19" Prodrive GT2's
  21. didn't come with the car as they are standard STi alloys... mines the 330s that normally has 18"s, but the dealer had put the Prodrive GT2 19"s on from new you can pick up the STi 17"s easy, make sure thay are the 114pcd fitment. A guy on MidlandScoobies bought a set but his car is 100pcd fitment... so has them FS, if he can sell them. Got mine off ebay with tyres came off the car at a dealer as the guy had upgraded to 18"s when he bought his hatch. Plus side was he lived 5mins from where I am!!! :) winner So I use them for winter alloys and have had them, green the other year, blue last year, then last December I had them powder coated properly in orange, instead of me rattle canning them.
  22. Modified nationals in a few weeks at Peterborough show ground.. I'm going there on the sunday. 'Garage Racers' stand :)
  23. I've these for winter.... drives nice on the 17"s ;) these went on the other week for summer
