  1. What fuel are you using ? Not sure if it makes a difference with the n/a cars but the turbos run better on vpower
  2. Thread hijack ! Gambit what did programme do you use for the car pc ?
  3. Oh stop it you ! :O
  4. My legs are available for all. don't hate appriciate!
  5. I'll pm you
  6. Technically both you and the car will be there :-D You comibg on the bike instead ?
  7. If yours is anything like mine i can get nearly 170 miles to half a tank then it drops like a stone between half and a quarter. Steady away i can get nearly another 100 out of the final bit and i've never had the reserve light come on. Real world driving round and about 50-60 is more like it. 300miles out of a tank is usual on long drives for me and mines an older model. Hopefully now i've changed the o2 sensor economy will be a bit better. Typed all that and realised yours is n/a !
  8. http://www.rallysportdirect.com/Gauge-Pods
  9. Nick, i wouldn't like to say they have some on ebay but the newage ones look a bit weird with rotating holders. Could always mail the company and see. May even be albe to see if the have a european distributor save on shipping from the states
  10. they are from a company called ati or ats. Seen them on us websites or this from another us site and maker http://www.kronosperformance.com/store/smy-clustermaker-dual-gauge-pods.htmlhink
  11. The phone communicates fine with the headunit using bluetooth. The issue lies with the android os not being able to sync and import my contacts anymore when connecting through the usb as it automatically trys to put the phone into mass storage mode where as before you could just upload all contacts. I just have to dial through the phone instead. Whats more annoying is the fact i don't know who's calling now so cant screen my calls
  12. There goes my hope of being able to pick someones brains :-(
  13. I cant fault mine its just doing my head in that before i could dial up people from the headunit. Last time i installed the numbers i plugged the phone straight in but now won't recognise it Mine has ipod and usb conectivity. How do you load your contacts in ?
  14. Which bluetooth unit do you have ? I've got the kbt100 wich is obsolete now so theres no support and since the last android update i can't load my phonebook into the headunit. :-(
  15. The carrier? Bolts onto wishbones hub sits inside ? Gutted how long does the beating last at the mo ?
  16. At least you won't be living in fear of it collapsing now :O I've got the week off so i'll get it done at some point
  17. Old one in place. I think looks the same. Cars garaged so hopefully a 22 mm spanner will do i'll just double check whdn the old ones out
  18. The one thats in the csr is exactly the same part number and length of harness. I thought it was an after market part but searching around it seems that the older cars use bosch. It's also saying that bosch make parts for denso. The generic ones don't appear to have holes so i'm not bothered. It was mor the fact that the company i bought it from had re bagged it. Just got to find a crows foot to fit now. Or lambda socket
  19. Decided to bite the bullet and replace my sensor. After hunting around and phoning subaru i bought one off the web it claims to be a genuine part but from what i've read it should be a denso. Whats turned up is bosch. Slightly confused as googling the sensor brings up ones for about sixty quid. Only the end is different has a load of holes in where as the ones on web dont Feel slightly duped but have no idea
  20. Ebay had a couple last time i looked. Not sure what the differences are with your model but on the sf the hangers and length of the pipe are different. You can make the impreza ones fit but requires some welding
  21. Thats how it starts ! Slippery slope from there on in ;-)
  22. Looks good :-) Have you a list of goodies you want for her yet ?
  23. going from memory it depends on what your using it for the LS is limited slip diff oil specific, so just go with the normal stuff for the gearbox, i'd double check 1st though but i'm pretty sure, could try opie oils, he's on here for more advice and to see if he can get the shell stuff for you
  24. Like you say if the previous owner has done everything irrelivant of cost should be nothing to worry about. I was getting confused with the service schedual sorry, :O i have an older car anyway so could be different
  25. Whoop ! Glad you like it. When was the last mayor service done ? Should have been includes in that. I'd have a look see what condition the belt has done as they are supposed to be done every 40k i think. Mine has the same amount of mileage and i was told the belt had at least 20k left on it but with no record i wasn't going to chance it. When it came off the idler and pulleys looked ok as was genuine subaru belt. It's an expensive job but for piece of mind i'd get it checked
