The dealership has eventually got back to me after me asking several times and apparently Subaru don't do an extended warranty.

Been in touch with the dealer and they've had a couple of problems with aerial bases being faulty so here's hoping. Norrie

Wipers aren't covered but there checking on the hid bulbs. Norrie

Yeah I tend to do my blades every year as well and always go for Bosch. I got the 3 blades from euro car parts for £15 delivered. Norrie.

Have now read that they maybe covered under the 3 year warranty which I find hard to believe and also the wiper blades. Anyone heard this? Thanks

If you get ones for cars with roof rails they will often fit. Look for some advertised local and just try them. Norrie

One of my headlight bulbs is out. I've got the new bulb but what's the easiest way to replace it? From the inside or take the headlight out? It's the drivers side. Oh and I can't believe how expensive they are. The cheapest I could get locally was Halfords. £30 with the trade card. Should of been £60. Norrie.

I've still got the Thule ones I had on our forester and there the same fitting. I only paid £10 used off eBay.

Yep. I pick up an old Series 3 Land Rover tomorrow to go up and down my track as I feel I'm abusing the Subaru a bit too much. Norrie.

The red looks amazing you will not be disappointed. As for tyres I fitted.deddicated winter ones and they've been fantastic. Not sure what the Geolanders would have been like. Norrie.

This was what it was like when I came back to it today. Believe it or not I was able to drive it out.

I've noticed that the radio reception on my XV is very poor. I live in the Scottish Borders so reception isn't brilliant here at the best of times however the fm reception is rubbish. I struggle to get any stations at all. The dab works ok although again when I'm in the Borders radio 2 seems to be the only channel I can get a good reception with. The car is still under warranty so going to take it to the dealer as the suspension is rattling as well. I just wondered if anyone else had problems with the radio? oh it's a late 2015 so has the updated radio. thanks. Norrie.

Cool. What colour did you get? I seen a red one at my local dealers and it looks well cool. We've had a couple of foresters in the past and the XV is very impressive in the snow etc. I would say the only thing that lets it down is its not got a low box.

Don't you just feel really smug driving around knowing that the car is rock solid?

Mine are still going strong.

We had a big caravan but now have a smaller one which also weighs a lot less. The good thing about the XV having a reversing camera is you can see the tow ball so really easy to hook up. Norrie.

There's now a Subaru main dealer in Galashiels but there very new so don't know if I would trust them. I was going to use Nobles as they've been there for years but now not to sure. Norrie.

Fitted my new mud flaps. Very easy to fit and look Good.

Yeah but the 3 year bumper to bumper has a 60k cap hence me looking at extending it. Norrie.

The bumper to bumper warranty is only 3 years or 60,000 miles. Norrie.

Oh an I noticed my local Subaru dealer has brand new diesels of the old Model for £19000.

Surely a diesel will be available at some point? Norrie.
