  1. Full volume on ur stereo (I supose) What about ur phone volume?
  2. Let's put it this way, does STI brakes (any model compared to the same model) have a sharper fell than a WRC? (less travel, less spongy)
  3. Is replacing a 1" master brake cylinder with a 1 1/16 make a better responsive brake ? Anybody has a fist hand experience?
  4. Try Tim Farmer a very good subaru specialist. His phone is somewhere on this site. He can also sort the needed parts. I've tried a couple of dealers in the past and never ever again.
  5. Michelin crossclimate 2 probably the best but most expensive . My other option (that I went with) was Vredestein Quatrac Pro. Like'em a lot. Watch www.tyrereviews.com and decide what's best 4 u.
  6. I do have a set (full set front and rear) suspension(shocks and springs) from an SG5 in perfect condition. If you can find out if it fits(and you get rid of the self leveling issues) it's all yours. Just have to pick it up (south Cambridge area)
  7. Decided to upgrade to 22mm rear ARB from WHITELINE. OK for a while but only 500 miles later quite squiky. Please be aware !!!
  8. Looking to have some ecu "upgrade " in the near future. B4 I'll go for it will check with u.
  9. Miika, great post. I have an 07 JDM CROSSSPORTS 2.0T, can you please translate how that can help me.
  10. Reviving the topic. I had new front disks and pads, on the cheap side (icp deal)that came with blue print pads. For road use it was kind of decent with lots of dust and noisy(when cold) But going in reverse was an absolute disaster. Got a new set of pads Apec (still on the cheap side). Less dust but even worse squealing. Those pads have wear indicators on each pad. Before going to the big money parts, I cut the wear indicators off and big surprise, no more noise. For the future, any suggestion for decently priced brake pads (road use) Does EBC yellow stuff really worth the money?
  11. https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc?tires=225-60r16-215-60r16 110% fit. Minor differences.
  12. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-Universal-Car-Safety-Seat-Belt-Buckle-Alarm-Eliminator-Clip-Stop-Warning-Hot/255098900415?_ul=UK&var=0&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_ZvaoK2e-QIVtcLCBB1S1Q8JEAQYASABEgKQcfD_BwE&pageci=3612a386-e3dd-4171-8c66-890401d6fd79&redirect=mobile If u really don't want to wear the seatbelt.
  13. 99.9% yes. What is the oem size u have? (X / Y Rz) X - width Y - wall high % R - rim size
  14. Hey, enjoy the car. Myself I paid a pretty penny a year ago 4 a Forester Cross Sports 32k.
  15. They're not a Subaru dealer !
  16. A couple days ago driving over a couple of speed bumps the speedo stopped working. At first boucing in between 0 and actual speed, day later dead. As per my research can be the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) or a connection behind cluster. Also to mention is a EJ 205 turbo, automatic - 4EAT, JDM (with shifters on the steering wheel ) I know there is lots of knowledge out there, can you please let me know what would be my best bet to start first checking. If need to look for VSS it looks ike I need to take the intercooler off. Is that right? Is the VSS the same or at least looking like the manual transmission one ? Thank you
  17. Doesn't look too bad but...
  18. I'll post a pic. Thank you
  19. Yesterday I managed to enthusiasticly back up into a bollard. Today I'm looking for a rear bumper for a Forester SG 2007(silver). It's a JDM with specific trim, but no idea what the name for it. I hope a regular xt or any other would fit. Other option would be to try fix it, but I'm afraid it's over my capabilities. Any advice or a bumper laying around?
  20. On a for pots brake caliper, brake pads have some thin tin wear indicators(one pad only on each side and usually on the outside but can also be on the inside of the disc) Check pads wear and if ok reshape just a touch those tin indicators. Hope it makes sense.
  21. WD40 is not a lubricant. WD stands for "water displacemen" formula 40. Try silicone spray.
  22. Part of the vehicle in this instance. Can also be retrofitted but I highly doubted.
  23. Part of alarm system. Ultrasound sensors.
  24. You can have'em for the price of shipping or for free if picked up (cb11 area) If ur happy with it you can pay later (or not) whatever u think is fair.
  25. Not a big fan of green but can't justify shock socks just because they're green (had a hard time explaining the need of coilovers as the oem were "perfectly fine " Anyhow here are the pictures and I'm warming up to Kermit green.
