  1. Don't get me wrong it handles well as goog as a regular car (fiesta st is not a regular car). What do you mean by sport shift? Put it in semi-manual and shift? No.
  2. Auto 4EAT, it is a different car that I had (Fiesta ST, 1.6T) It's like a Boeing 747 vs a Messerschmitt. Nice power, soft, bit too soft in corners but just had it for three days. I really like the tranny, very responsive (got tired of manuals) What I like the most is the "sleeper" look. They may look big and clumsy but ...hold my beer.
  3. Just got mine yesterday. 2007 Forester Cross Sports 31k miles, 2.0T, Fujitsubo exaust. I'll try to post some pictures asap.
  4. Just GOT out of Flux experience, never again !
  5. Just about to pick up a 2007 Forester Cross Sports with 30k miles (EJ205) Now, I think is on the original timing belt. Mileage wise is ok but how reliable would be for its age? I'm aware that usually 10 years is the norm to have it replaced, just open to more experienced opinions. If let's say I'll go for a replacement what about the water pump on this mileage, and if I'll go for water pump what's your opinion re high flow pump (cast turbine) Any other suggestions regarding immediate maintenance? Thank you.
  6. Big fan of Nokian tyres. I had Weatherproof on the XV, excellent response in any weather. Powerproof on fiesta ST, more performance orientated and there is also a Rainproof tyre (title says all) I would call them at par with big names but frendlier prices.
  7. Take a look at this guys QuayVehicleSolutions. One of the reserved is mine (hopefully )
  8. Just wait until you have to take over on a skinny road, or until you'll need to service the box. Just saying. Oh, and forget McRae. CVT is like the saing " run with the big dogs or stay on front porch and bark". Good luck with it, but please come back and let us know, is it a " big dog" ?
  9. Best point, stay away!
  10. Here you go. identification.pdf
  11. Why don't you get under the car and measure the anti roll bars. XV has a pretty nice ground clearance. Just saying ...
  12. That's what I initially thought and it's right, but having a window DAB aerial installed involves a bit more routing for the wires (not necessarily ground). I got the overall point.
  13. Please disregard the question. My bad.
  14. Why a ground has to be attached to the roof ...? Just wandering
  15. Thank you
  16. Long story short, not very impressed wth the one I've seen and decided on a 2007 Forester Cross Sports.
  17. @New, what is ur current setup? Brand, model? and where did u get it installed., if I may ask.
  18. @New, can u please elaborate. Looking for something similar, any info is helpful.
  19. As per title, I'm looking to have a double DIN Stereo / GPS installed in a 2007 Forester jdm (hood on the dashboard) I'm looking for mid range unit , android, cd, gps. I'm located in Essex but happy to travel a bit for a good deal. TIA
  20. As per the title say I'm looking to buy a 2004, 66k, jdm, Forester Cross Sports, sj20T, auto. Not being very experienced with the Forester, what to pay attention to before I go 4 it. What would the above go for? (Money wise ) Pros & Contras re: a jdm? Thanks
  21. Thank you savage, I might give it a try.
  22. If no better options in the Cambridge area I'll be willing to travel a few miles. Anybody? Thanks
  23. I'm coming on the 4th service on my xv and not very happy with the previous ones (Perkins and Constitution motors) Anybody has any pointers for a good subaru garage around Cambridge (north Essex) Thank you.
