  1. Today I have mostly been getting covered in glass fibres while wrapping the manifold in a nice new heat fabric ... Ohh and ordered a new oil filter and some nice 10w-30 for her service next weekend Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've got my little Suzuki swift and that's my project car with every intention of making it a track car... And a 2002 suzuki GSXR 600... I like jap stuff [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I'm on ST coilovers from KW and they are great if you're looking for a stiffer ride but still want to be able use it in and around town over speed bumps and not kill your spine... Prices are normally around £500/600 and upwards but I've seen them on demon tweeks for under £500 in the past... I only went for them because I didn't want to spend silly money on them and I've got to admit I'm very happy with them... I've done around 8,000 miles on them and they have stood up well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. A fact from across the pond: 46% of American adults believe that the world is less than 10,000 years old. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. The little bits of paper you get from hole punching paper are called Chads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Any idea on how much you'd want for the fog surrounds?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Have you still got the surrounds for sale at all?? If you do any ideas how much you'd want for them posted?? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hi all, Was driving around during the day and all was well until I got home at around about 9pm and I realised that the fog light surround on my passenger side was missing. Does anyone have either the passenger side one or the pair? not fussed what colour or even if they are the covers instead of the fog light surrounds. Just kinda need something. Oh and nothing silly priced either. I have looked on ebay and a pair of surrounds is something like £100+ If anyone has some or knows of a pair for sale let me know... Many thanks!
  9. 20 with a blob GX and once I'm 21 will be looking to get myself another ... But this time... With boost!!! [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I've seen one near me, £6999 for a 2007 hawk with 57k on the clock and it's got it's paperwork as well so I'm quite tempted by that one... Seems to be around the right kind of price for a Subaru with that low a mileage on it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I think that might be the core of it, I'm looking low and high for a good one that's not silly money and there's some out there... It's going to be with me for a while so I'd probably look to get forge parts anyway as I'm going to want some bigger numbers power wise! Just wasn't sure if it would be worth my while is all... But I do like the look of the hawk, and their at least slightly more modern inside as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Well that's my mind made up then! Thanks tidgy... One virtual high 5 for you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Howdy all! Been on here around a year now with my 2.0 GX blobeye and she's slowly starting to show her age (rust developing, lower control arm snapped and replaced, belts now being replaced) And in May it is my birthday, so I'm thinking of treating myself to a WRX of some format, and would quite like a hawkeye! The long and short of it is that I'd like to know if there is anything to look out for with them... Are there any knows issues with the engine or running gear? I'm pretty capable when it comes to working on cars but just don't want to dump a load of money into a car that will just end up going south on me! And the other thing is, is it worth me just going for a blob eye WRX instead ?? Any tips or knowledge would be appreciated, and repaid with a number of Internet points and a virtual high five! 14. Don't worry David I feel your pain! The joys of retail [emoji19] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. So this is what 13 years of rust deterioration does to the welds on a wishbone, the new one is a single piece so I'm far happier with that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Welcome to the club! Sounds like you are already enjoying the perks of forester!! It's always worth the wait for the right one as well, the market for Subaru's in general can be a bit hit and miss in terms of price and condition Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. So thought it was breaks. Turns out the lower wish bone on the drivers side had corroded through and snapped... Christmas just got somewhat tighter this year [emoji17] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Clean example as well very nice!! Is it your first bike or have you been riding a while?? Do have a soft spot for the zx6-R!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Today I lost all response from my brakes and enjoyed severe juddering and lack of control... Now sitting on the hard shoulder of the M11 ... Could definitely be warmer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Welcome! I know with some higher mileage cars it's worth looking into having not only plugs and filters like Geoff said but also look at injectors, I've seen it before where over time injectors become restricted because they have particulates in them. Possibly look at getting an engine clean done? My mums battle bus (Kia Sedona) had a similar issue where you'd put your foot down and nothing would happen and then once it felt like it, the torque would come in Hope it's s simple fix for you!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Welcome! I've got a 2003 with a standard spoiler in black at the moment and would be up for a swap if you fancied it? But still welcome to the club :D
  22. I own a non turbo myself and it isn't an easy thing to do by any stretch of the imagination. It would physically be cheaper to buy a turbo Subaru! If you're hell bent on doing the conversion though it will require changing everything from pistons and cams all the way back to new gear box and differential oh and a new ecu to run it all. It's a question that gets asked a lot and it can be done, it's just absurdly expensive to do it unfortunately Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
