Just seen some interesting news about a new 2015 Forester STI, looks based around a concept at the moment but would be nice to see some new ones on the road.

I think that looks small as it's a lot lower, The new ones are huge I was parked next to one the other day and was a bit disappointed by the looks, park it in a crowd of oyher 4x4's and it would look much the same, least with the 1st & 2nd gen cars they look prerty unique

My post-euromillions win car collection includes one of these, a bug, blob, hawk, shark, wrx sti, foz turbo and tribeca....along with my outback of course [emoji14]

But is this forester STi like the XV STi in that it's a few cosmetic changes and some aerodynamic changes and suspension improvements but nothing in the engine bay. Or is this a "proper" STi?

Not too sure on the front, grill seems a bit too black if you get me. Think the top of the grill below the bonnet needs to be a different colour.

I'd have one if it looks like that though :)

I imagine it'll be cvt, the XT turbo currently only comes in cvt, no manual gearbox. Though it's pretty good, only odd thing is you don't hear it change gears like a traditional auto

I've driven an XT 2.0 Turbo on an off road track, it's quite impressive what it can do, the hill descent assistance is very clever. It's very quick even on gravel. It did feel a little heavy though, but that might be because I'm used to an XV. It's a very nice car. I'm not sure i could justify the tax or fuel though.

It's double what I pay now and I doubt it does 60mpg, well I doubt it'd do it if I drove it, you'd just have to put your foot down all the time [emoji3]

Looks like announcement on the 25th November, seems to look very similar to the concept in the pictures they've shown.
