57 (Type 25 spec) 408bhp sadly for sale

Featured Replies

The ultimate Hawkeye 57 plate.

Full history, serious money, serious performance. Garaged, summer car now, but sadly time to go. I am the 3rd owner, each owner has loved this car. I have a busy life, career, a young family, run a 1st car and the truth I can't justify or afford such a gorgeous machine stood looking pretty.

Full spec available on receipt but this is a type-25 spec, proven 408php with full dyno history. 10k under the bonnet (full receipts), though everything updated, done by the experts and still a discrete slick looking car. Cosworth spec engine, forged pistons, uprated turbo, Syvecs ECU bought recently, with bespoke loom (£2,500), uprated adjustable shockers, full stainless system de-cat, Walbro 450 fuel pump, mapped to Shell V-power (only) double-plate clutch with SCR Billet steel flywheel, this car was built with 500bhp in mind, so is de-tuned. Performance from 0-175mph is just ridiculous.

Cosmetics, carbon fibre pieces throughout, 18" Dynamics black gloss alloys, new tyres, 3 x DEFI gauges, lots of subtle touches.

5 months MOT, 7 months tax.

I could go on, and on. If you know your cars, then when you see this you will know what this car is. Scoobiclinic built and know this car, one of the fastest road cars they have built that still drives like a standard STI.

100% genuine, so I want to make clear now the clutch has a little slip of late. May need adjustment. There is a tiny scrape on the rear n/s bumper. Paintwork, wheels, interior, reflect the usage and love the car has had.

Anyone interest, I will require proof of ID and take the necessary security precautions and not "meet you with your mate by a field" :)

Serious people only.

Looking for circa 11k.

Great looking car. Good luck with the sale. :)

It's my 3rd but with 4 kids, new house, I'm now driving a fiesta z-tech cheaper to run! Thought about keeping but I'm not rich so hard to justify! I need to edit my as too, upload all the spec...take forever! Good home wanted, worth a mint just under the hood. Cheers for reply pal.

No problem mate. Shame about the fiesta. Lol well hopefully it will find a good home and even become a member here so we can keep an eye on it for you. :)

i cant afford it but what are sensible offers for something as beastie as this

Lovely motor - pity you have to sell but sometimes these things are a necessity - I hope it finds a good home as someone is going to get a peach of a motor

might be worth doing a photobucket load to share more pictures - they do tend to help attract more views and maybe more chance of generating a sale
