Rizmo
Had a long motorway trip last night, and noticed the cars behind did not dazzle. Fiddling about this morning, I could not get a rear view, other than in the position it was in last night. Then it dawned on me - the rear tinted windows do all the work to dim following lights, so no need to dip the mirror! Seems the XV tint is deeper than the Kia tint, where I always had to use the dipping mirror. One less thing to fiddle about with.
Sandals
That's good to know!! I'm constantly having to dip my mirror and it bugs the hell out of me!
Scoobyghost
My spoiler seems at a perfect height to block dazzling headlights. I also use it as a tailgating sign. If I see the lights between the boot lid and spoiler at national speeds then they're too close.
Dogconker
Never thought about it but you're right, I think I've only dipped my mirror a couple of times since I had it.
marcothio
I noticed that too and I am very sensitive to the reflection when driving at night. Problem solved indeed
