Shaz71
Hi, I have a classic Silver Subaru Impreza I want to sell (K reg) but so far I have encountered nothing but timewasters. The car needs some work, it has sat for 4 years but is a right hand drive import so has a higher spec than the standard UK model such as aircon and galvanised body. I also have some spares to sell with it. Any advise on the best place to sell it or anyone interested?
Buggyeye
I assume it's a turbo? And has the fluids been left in the engine like coolant, oil ect?

savage bulldogs
You shouldn't have any problems selling a 93. as the Americans are itching to import turbo gc8's and only the early classics are just old enough to import (due to their restrictions) If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊
quit
yeah gotta be 25 years, I know someone who bought a few R32/33 GTST / GTR when they were dirt cheap about 5 years ago and now finally shipping them over to the states they driving jap auction prices up to, but rules in japan are very strict not many early ones left
Shaz71
Yes it's a turbo, fantastic car, I love it but I just don't have the money it deserves spending on it. Fluids have been left in. I have another Subaru now so want my classic to go to a good home

Valve stem seals are probably gone by now I'd guess ( not expensive) can't hurt to give it a quick once over

GeoffLeggy
Hi, Can you please put some pics up. Will you be changing oil, coolant etc to show it running? What work do you think it needs?

It will be a non Runner and will be sold as seen.
Buggyeye
Better off exporting like savage said. Americans will more than likely buy it due to import restrictions. The fact it's being sat around for 4 years with manky fluids in it is gonna put people off. Had I not just been made redundant Dante I might of made an offer
