Seminole81
Forgot to post this a while ago. Anyways, £750 fully comp including exhaust declared, I'm 27 and have had an accident within last 5 years, and also 2 other claims (unfortunately my step daughter needed to put 2 claims in on a company car I had out in my name for her...foaming), my lass 15 years no claims on, and her Mam on the policy. Don't think that was too bad all things considered. Flux said £980 or something like that. Another specialities wouldn't touch me because I hadn't had a "high powered vehicle" before. Hudson
I am also on admiral @650 fully comp and third party to drive anything else 3rd party as long as the car is insured which is handy. Two years no claims and get an additional no claims year every 10 months instead of 12 which is nice.
kershaw-330s
I payed £450 with admiral this year , I'm 28 5 years no claims but I've been driving hi performance cars since I was 21 also the 330s has a Tracker which helps and I'm fortunate to like in a low risk postcode , but I do moan at them everytime I get my renewal surprising how much they can knock off just because you rang Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
Seminole81
Oh I don't know if I have any of those little extras...should find out really. I know I have an aftermarket alarm, dunno if it's a immobilizer as well or not.
Hudson
I just tried to renew my policy with admiral but tried to declare some new modifications that will be going on in may and they said they wouldn't cover it so gone with adrianflux instead as they offered to cover everything and more including the cost of the mods themselves too
Vortex
I know I'm resurrecting a zombie post. I was with Admiral for 6 years, always around 700-750. Then I bought my WRX and they asked for 1,500 and I tried to negotiate a more realistic price, saying I've gotten better deals, but they weren't interested. I tried other quotes from online sources (moneysupermarket, etc) and they all seemed to come around 1.5K. Then I tried a Sky quote, and it was 380 plus covering the cost of all modifications. It was a no-brainer. I think anyone intending to do or having mods, should def go with a specialist broker.
ScoobyBlueClassic
I have admiral multi car and got to say it’s brilliant. £180 a year for my standard 98 uk turbo with all other cars. I pay just under £2k a year for: Audi S1 Audi A8L 3.0 TDi Vauxhall Adam 1.2 (daughters car insured as a learner) VW Beetle 1600 (5k max miles per year) Mk1 Golf GTi (1.8, 2k miles max per year) and the ‘98 Scooby UK turbo (2k miles max per year) Got to add the Polo G40 (1.3 supercharged with mods declared, running circa 150bhp, again will be 2k mile max per year) so see if they fancy that when the time arrives. All fully comp and think I’ve got £450 total excess including voluntary on all cars. As wife has 10 years NCB they gave me 4 years NCB on the Scooby and on daughters Adam. Already had better NCBs on the other cars.
