Jimmyc Posted March 29, 2017 Share Posted March 29, 2017 Morning all, i have a 2009 WRX-S hatch running the standard VF52 turbo car is currently running a 3" Tomei, japspeed decat, Perrin 3 port solenoid, K&N typhoon air feed, mishimoto TMIC, HKS BOV, Custom map. NOT FORGED!! the car is making 280bhp and 350 Lb/ft torque but it is running out of poke after gear 3 Has anyone got any solid advice on decent turbo upgrades? Ideally direct bolt on? Fairly mechanically adept. Have looked at new pumps and injectors if needed but not looking to blow the engine. Jimmyc Posted March 30, 2017 Author Share Posted March 30, 2017 I'm liking the look of the SC36 😉 Clutch is already uprated to max 500hp and a lightweight flywheel is in. savage bulldogs Posted March 31, 2017 Share Posted March 31, 2017 If your original set up has a single scroll turbo there's quite a few oe turbo options that hit 330hp on a 2ltr engine ,that are a straight swap .
