Scubzjames Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Just wondering what people thought was the best stuff to protect the underside of your motor with? what about wax oil? Or thay bitchumen stuff? Any ideas?
David Wilkinson Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 I'll be using waxoyl on mine. It seems to be good stuff. Just make sure you use a power washer to clean off your area first. If you wanted to go all out you could use dinitrol.
stants Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Waxoil does tend to go everywhere, I've had bad experiences in the past I now usually use the hammerite under body seal to do the floorpan and rear arches, then get some rattle cans for inside the box sections and a few places you can't reach Then get a couple of the Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
Fastboy67 Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Just been reading in jap performance mag about a company called krown that use some kind of mist spray that attacks the likes of surface rust and basically gets underneath it to protect the metal. It eventually turns into a gel so never sets and doesn't fall off or get chipped so protects for longer. Takes about 4 hours to do a car. Not sure on cost though.

Fastboy67 Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Iv left the mag at work so I'll check the morra and see if there's any mention of costs. Apparently the Canadian army use it on there vehicles.
