Replacement Tyres

Featured Replies

Hi fellow Outbackers

I have recently bought 2019 Outback and am very happy with:

ride comfort

off road capability

overall practicality

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best tyres for this model with an 80% on road 20% (max) off road. I don’t want anything noisy at speed but would like to exploit the off road ability of the vehicle.

Thanks

This tyre review test might help - Michelin and GoodYear came out top.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJJTf2XfQgQ

Michelin crossclimate

running those on my daily as winter tyres - not noisy at all (get out clause, running a cobra resonated turbo back system 😉) great wet weather performance, hit some standing water on the motorway the other day circa 70mph..... Car did not flinch, very solid under wet / slushy braking as well

Great input guys. What about Pirelli Scorpion….?

I'm considering Pirelli Cinturato SF2 all seasons.
