BlackBosh Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 What dump valve is that it sounds mega Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
BoozyDave Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 personally I wouldn't have a dump valve fitted. my last blob had a forge (with adjustable springs) and it sounded fine, but my new blob drives loads better on std recirc. why do you want to sound like an arctic or a bus with air brakes?
Gambit Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 I don't mind or have noticed any difference with one or without one. I'd be lying if I didn't say I mainly use mine for overtaking slower moving things on the road like bikes caravans.... Horses and letting a nice pitssssh off as I get just level with them :D
BlackBosh Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 the wrong dump valve yes and it will sound like a bus opening its doors, mine has an adjustable one as well and has a nice tight psst to it and makes it drive no different apart from helping me smile
Gambit Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 Mines to help vent my anger towards other road user :D
BoozyDave Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I used to like it, but prefer the smoother drive without one fitted. Maybe mine wasn't set up as well as it could have been, it was remapped with it fitted, Is yours mafless? Or have you got front mount?
Gambit Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 No got a MAF and Top Mount still. Oh and I was joking about the horses :D I have heard of some peoples car's not going well after fitting a dump valve I guess some engines don't like them. The two in the garage have them on and one isn't remapped at all and runs fine also :(
