How many miles do you get to  £20 if your taking it easy in the Scooby?

about 75 miles, 20 quid is roughly 3 gallons so 25mpg

Alex

I'm the same so around 70miles round town.

Put 40quid in on sunday and did 163miles of rush hour driving this week through townand on dual carriageway managed a heady 26mpg :-D

I do mostly motorway so I get 30-34mpg in a standard 2004 blob...depending how I drive :)

To be fair I was talking to a non driver the other day and they were telling me a daily bus ticket is nearly a fiver and weekly about thirty quid. Not having to pay for parking in town I'm more than happy to put 25-30 quid in a week for my commute, drive where I want and with who I want :-D

In fairness mine does an easy 30mpg with the sort of driving I do, mostly A roads. If it only ever saw town driving I imagine it would be a hell of a lot lower

Ive got 50 miles to a tenner just taking it easy last two days fueling up at £1.26.9

I get about 70 miles to £20, the lowest I've had is 15 miles to a tenner......... :D :D :D

I have managed 240 miles on a full tank not sure if that's good/bad but I think these cars have excellent mpg for the performance. Admittedly I have only had her for coming up a month

Since the last 240miles i've got an average mpg of 37.5 :D

Happy with that,

Mines 2ltr N/A mate, my bad should have said.

I reckon I get about 90 miles for my £20.....3 litre flat 6 petrol auto

92 miles on 25L today including a trip to sheff and back still got a few miles to go before the needle reaches the point t was before I filled up

Mine averages 26mpg with me driving and nearly 30mpg when the Doris borrows it.

I've run a couple of tanks of momentum now and am getting about +1.5 mpg. Even that's enough to offset the extra 5p per litre, so I intend to use it from now on. Economically beneficial and better for the engine too......

Win win!! [emoji106]

im trying momentum now as it happens. Its cheaper than shell optimax I will let you no what I get

MPG? I dont look, and only put £20 in at a time, cant see the point of filling it to the brim as your just adding weight (a lot) only fill up for longer runs on motorway, I also remove spare wheel and jack for local to work trips

I prefer not to have the **** from the bottom of the tank running through my engine. That's my main motivation, although I understand the weight argument too

I'm with you in that one David. I never drop in the red. Plus I do 100 miles a day so would be filling up all the time if I just put 20 in
