  1. Not sure mate maybe just get used dials from a breaker? Hopefully someone will jump in here who’s done it before. Good lucky man
  2. The police are no more than a corporation trying to make profit these days. The UK is a police state and is only getting worse unfortunately. It will be a social credit system like China before long but people will think it’s cool cause you will have a score to boast about sort of like credit rating apps
  3. Exhaust mods and a fuel pump are probably the most cost effective. Speak to a mapper before hand aswell.
  4. Just buy a decent panel filter instead standard air box is well better unless 350hp is your ballpark, then if your on a budget get an open source map should only cost about 200-250 quid. on the topic of can you replace up pipe with out map I’m not sure some say yes some say no. A good starting point is fuel pump panel filter cat back exhaust and map makes a difference. Of course decat or sports cat down pipe are options aswell. Again this is what anyone who mods/ maps Subaru’s will tell you.
  5. Just be careful this happened on my last wrx and I wasted money buying lamda sensors and all sorts. A Normal garage can replace it no bother but it’s finding out the real issue in the first place to save you a head ache. If it’s P0420 there’s threads all over the internet telling you what to do man. You will probably still be fine to drive it man
  6. If it is a the cat I’d say it is more than likely to be the one in the up pipe so if I were you I’d replace with used Sti up pipe which is cat less and get it mapped that is if you are wanting to mod at all
  7. I wouldn’t panic about it mate if the car is running fine. You will be able to read codes clear codes and probably see live data on your wee scanner I can on mine and It’s a amazon special too lol. Out of interest what was the driving conditions when the code came up?
  8. I’m sure if it’s flashing that means misfire. Euro mate if you want it now I’m sure you can get them cheaper on amazon
  9. I’d first buy a cheap scan tool you can get them for about £10-15 so you can find out what the code is. I’d guess it’s P0420 if it’s not flashing.
  10. I think our cars have different paint codes or I would consider making a deal to swap you cause I want the low level wing for mine
  11. Aye man same stuff for gearbox n diff
  12. Make sure to change the sump washer aswell mate
  13. Love the wagons mate all that extra space with virtually no difference in performance if any. In hind sight I should have bought one but oh well maybe next time lol
  14. Nice one have been able to stop driving it yet? 😂
  15. You Jack the back of your car using rear diff mate
  16. You could clean it up with a wire brush then wax oil or something. But it’s very common again so don’t worry. So much so that subaru make a replacement panel. Mines is the exact same if not worse man
  17. Nice one mate glad your enjoying it that’s probably just the transmission whining it is a bit louder than most cars. Enjoy it mate 👍
  18. I know a few ex mechanics who chucked down the tools for the same reason. They loved cars became a mechanic and now hate cars lol
  19. I use 10w40 mate but used to used shell helix 5w40 from euro car parts with no issues was like £20 with there online discount lol
  20. Aw yeah if I had read your post properly I’d have seen that 🤣 duh subaru drivers eh hahaha
  21. You can get the alternator bolt and the wee bit it screws into from import car parts fairly cheap mate easy to replace anaw
