Hi mate had a 2002 wrx myslef as my first scoob lovely motors. Im sure its only there to dim clock/odometer ect as you stated, basically all non essential info. Not sure if the bugeye does but my blob dims the stereo if i hold its power button in aswell. If in doubt however = owners manual.

I disagree with that proposal will cost a bomb to implement and will drain the last breath out of personal car ownership. If they really wanted to save lifes they would just put a camera everywhere and fine everyone as in every gantry on the motorway. Wouldn't take long for people to stop speeding if they got a ticket everytime they put the boot in it. If everyone is driving cars with radar style speed limiters then its will make the cops job easier.

Id have a look at your air filter make sure nothing is blocking it and probably service it. But i dont think they are generally that fast unfortunately. The 107 is a lot lighter might be why it seams faster but when it rains you have all wheel drive 👌.

No worries mate i have two nippers and my wrx is absolutely fine for carting us all about pram and buggy in toe. You might be best with wagon for the extra space.

All them from 2001 on have them for sure. Not certain on the classics but they probably do aswell.

If you are getting a fmic and a induction kit im pretty sure you would need a remap so the limiter should be able to be removed during mapping will save buying an ecu at least.

Thanks sam i think thats a good shout with the arbs and uorated bushes. Ill look in to a decent set of springs aswell. Ohh the list is growing longer 😂
