  1. I just had a look there and it says that the stage 1 exedy clutch is good for 40% extra power over standard clutch. I’ve heard people raving about the competition clutch brand maybe have a look or give scoobyworld or another mods shop a bell for advice. I have an extreme clutch on mine and it’s brilliant but I’ve only got a wrx with a couple of mods.
  2. It’s possible they will be mate but if they fix it first time that will save you hassle and cash in the long run. Good luck with it mate at least you practically know everything about a wrxs exhaust system now lol
  3. Naw mate I think it’s referee to as a mid pipe lol, centre section just has a resonator on stock system
  4. It’s too many cats in a far to big bag mate 🤣😂, I haven’t heard of them sorry mate but I’m in Scotland
  5. (2) uppipe ((4) downpipe (5) secondary cat then after is centre section I’m sure Thats it
  6. I stood under a ramp and watched my mate replace my 02 sensor on my bugeye. Check this pic.
  7. Look under your car mate and you can be the right one lol, it looks right to me mate I can’t say 100% though but surely the saloon and wagon have the same exhaust since it’s the same engine.
  8. I’ve circled yellow where your rear 02 sits if you are just replacing the centre section the sensor doesn’t need be touched
  9. That centre section looks right aswell btw 👍
  10. The sensor is in the cat pipe before the centre section, £18 is cheap try and get a mechanic to sell you gaskets for that price lol. What gaskets did you order by the way cause the ones I posted were for the uppipe cause that’s what you ware asking about at the time? I’ve missed so much 🤣😂
  11. There is a 02 sensor in the secondary cat yes
  12. Yeah mate I’m sure that is a resonator. As far as I’m aware it’s down pipe, secondary cat then that piece ( centre section) then back box.
  13. I.e do you need a new cat and a centre section
  14. Does the centre section even have a cat in it? Or is it including the cat replacement? I’ve been seeing this today but been undoing Allen bolts to move my bed all day ffs Allen bolts 😡🤬
  15. They do a kit specifically for fitting an uppipe mate. An Sti uppipe used is like £60, Brand new decat uppipes are like £150-£200 ish. The labour because of where it is will not be cheap that is if your mechanic doesn’t throw a hissy fit cause you want to supply your own parts I’ve had this loads in the past til I found the guy I use now. I’d send your scan tool back and say money please buy one that will work and clear the code then enjoy your car for a while while you save for a few bits and a map. You can probably achieve this with like £500-£600 tops if you go to the right person. Again mate you really need to know what that code is so you don’t pay for a mechanic to guess and just throw a grand down the toilet for the code to come back on the way home. By the sounds of it they have read the code and plan to just throw a new cat at it and hope for the best. I hope this isn’t tainting your enjoyment of your car mate There are so many who have gone through this with Scoobys me included.
  16. As far as I’m aware mate you don’t have cat in uppipe. None essential unless it’s replace with a sports cat like cobra/ Prodrive and I think it still needs mapped.
  17. Aye sandals your spot on there just looked it up no cats in headers. That’s actually great to know cause I was planning swapping up pipe and headers for Sti counterparts. Funny who the wrx has a pre cat and yet costs the same on tax so why is it there 🤔
  18. I’ve used Mb developments for used Scooby parts before and they are top notch mate they on Facebook but if you don’t have Facebook just type them in to google, the picture is obviously a kit but they do individual gaskets aswell mate
  19. Not sure if anyone has heard about this but knockhill are going to be doing this next year
  20. You could just get replacements from a breaker’s mate if your just staying standard the now will save you a bomb. Did they tell you what the code was?
  21. aw well I was half right then lol I thought they had a cat in the headers aswell and that’s why people swapped the Sti ones on.
  22. Yes it should have mate unless it’s been removed by prev owner. The wrx has catted headers and up pipe the Sti doesn’t. Stupid place to put a cat right in front of the turbo lol
  23. That’s weird that scanner didn’t work mate it’s a cheap amazon number I have and it works fine. You didn’t say to them I’m not in a hurry did you lol? That means to a mechanic when I can be arsed lol
  24. It plugs in your obd port which is under your steering wheel column, you can read the codes with engine running but all you really need to do is turn ignition on and the scanner tells you the rest 👍👍
  25. Haha 😂 pmsl I vision you shouting this in his letterbox, good point but any news Daryl?
