  2. Yeah savage its the plastic piece that the hose connects on to. Im not sure it is possible 😂🤣 ill give it another go ill look at the fuel line purge solenoid aswell cause there is a electrical connector going in to it
  3. Its the other end man its the plastic puece the hose connects to opposite side from t piece. Managed to get a picture up now
  4. Hi guys i thought id try and replace my inlet pipe today and ive totally screwed up. Feel like crying 😂, i got my old inlet pipe out with great difficulty but i cant get the replacement (oem) back in. Then in the process of trying to force it ive snapped a line coming from a T piece but i dont onow what its for lol. I will most likely take it to a mechanic but of course cant really drive it in this state. Cant seam to upload the picture but its the white t piece thats next to the alternator and its snapped the plastic on the other side.
  5. Im sure they are interference engines man so i think its probably dead 😞
  6. The car probably runs better with the map on it to be fair but just contact a mapper im sure they can just return it to stock not sure if theres another way hopefully one of the more experienced members on here can help you

Thats a stunning car mate 👍
  8. Looks awsome Stuartie where did you get the paint for it?
  9. Hes broke his gearbox probably theres a clutch for a reason, hes probably broken a piece of one of the gears and its jammed it in 2nd, rebuild or replace the gearbox and start using his clutch 👌
  10. You can buy stronger gears for a 5 spd and have it rebuilt if you want to keep the ratio but its not cheap thats why most people just put a 6spd in like all car mods really its how deep your pockets are
  11. Looks sweet mate great work so far
  12. The walbro 255 pump is the most popular not that dear new but you could just get on from a breaker for about £40 man
  13. Im not sure any of the 5spds can handle that kinda power mate unfortunately. 350 tends to be the opinion of the 5spds power limit
  14. I think you just pull fuel pump fuse then run car til it runs out of fuel to get presure out of the fuel lines then its just remove replace 👍
  15. Aw well thats a relif then mate, i use the cosworth panel filter works great. Plenty guys on here use the k&n aswell so your choice man both work.
  16. What era of forester you been looking at? I prefer the impreza myself but every ones different
  17. Yeh not seen much about them on here, thought they would be more popular being in the BTCC, i admittedly know nothing about them, they look nice though
  18. Retrieved my mastadon cd that ma wee fella thought belonged behind my cd player 😂
  19. Cheers man ill have a look, yeah its on the bottom but its causing the top end to not sit on properly had a cel because of it said something about the maf cant remember exact code cause i just moved it about the reset
  20. Thanks savage ill ask the misses if i can use her facebook and ill have a look 👍
  21. Hi mate welcome to the club enjoy your new scooby 👍
  22. Dont quote me but i think if it was piston rings you would be getting loads of blowby so oil coming out the exhaust but im not sure. Im at 106k mate so not much difference. My fuel pump was already swapped out for 255lph one by one of the previous owners so i didnt have to. No too hard but you can access from under the boot carpet. I think some people say its under the rear seats but i took my bugeyes rear seats out for a fuel leak and it wasnt there def in the boot on a bugeye anyway.
  23. Anybody happen to have an airbox for sale for newage? Found a crack on the bottom half of mine if not im sure ill find one at a breaker just thought id ask here first.
  24. I didnt see any oil on my filter to be honest man. I had oil consumption issue and oily pcv hoses thats why I changed it. Had no evidence of it being changed previously either. Its cool mate unfortunately its not an sti 😞 the guy before me obviously wanted it to look like one though 😂🤣
  25. The valve was like £10 mate from import car parts, think its in the same place as the sti but ive not seen an sti engine up close so not sure but as i said before. It was fairly simple mate just getting the hose off the pcv valve was a bit frustrating. Had no issues getting the intercooler off mate bit annoying getting it back on wouldnt call it hard but.
