  1. Ah right, yea I have no doubt in the sticky mounts. But I'm wanting to be able to easily remove it so was more after a suction or magnetic mount as Stants mentions.

  3. Chris - what did you use to attach the gopro to the back bumper for the exhaust? I want to capture the sound of mine properly I the same way but scared of it falling off haha!
  4. What temp is the car generally at when this happens? Have you ever had this happen after going for a drive, doing the same procedure except for the filling with petrol part? I.e. Turn it off, lock, give it a minute, unlock and try starting?
  5. Right, battery is fine and dandy after I've charged it up. Held its charge for a few days so I'm happy to put my name down too now. Have you still got that spare club ticket gambit - PM inbound!
  6. Don't know if it's been posted here but Gemma, myself and a few others are meeting at McDonalds at J1 M18 at 9:30 if you want to convoy with us. Can't make it Gambit? Gutted. I've never been more convinced you're just a computer program and not an actual real person now though. ;)
  7. Haha yea I didn't spot that whilst actually driving or would have gotten rid of it. Stants - I've got the "skeleton" back on (non waterproof with the big hole). I haven't changed any of the settings apart from the set resolutions in video mode. That's at 1080p but after converting and uploading to YouTube you can't tell the difference between that and 720p quality so think I'm going to change it back to speed up the conversion and upload process and to keep file sizes down.
  8. I do over 2000 miles every month in my work van and see **** like this every day. I could rant for hours about red light jumpers, bike wankers, inconsiderate arseholes etc. but would just be repeating what has already been said. If we genuinely wanted to crack down on accidents and deaths on the road we should be punishing bad driving not speed. Very rarely is speed the problem - speed with bad driving obviously, but speed alone. No. But speed is the easy option and a huge money maker. By far the biggest problem I see is mobile phone usage while driving. People who are on the phone are usually all over the road and going at very inconsistent speeds. Plus they usually hold you up at junctions creating traffic since theyre more bothered about whats on the phone than looking when lights have changed/traffic has started moving again. Anyway, enough about that. Ive charged my battery back up and took her out for a test and to blow the cobwebs off. Found a nice little bit of road
  9. Seems I'm destined not to get to get to one of these this year lol. Was about to set off and the !Removed! battery has died :(
  10. Up to you Pete. Can you make it now you know the correct date? ;) If you can, may as well keep hold of it and I'll look at buying a new ticket.
  11. You mean Sunday 05/07 yea? Sorry is it not a club ticket? If it is definitely 05/07 and it is a club ticket I'll have it. Send me a PM with payment details and I'll send it you.
  12. Alright mate, I'd be interested. Is it a club ticket for SOC? I'm a bit confused by the date too, 12/06??? Isn't it on 5th July? Or does 12/06 mean something else?
  13. More goodies through :D New front anti roll bar links and bushes to go with my new rear anti roll bar, links and bushes. Ready to be fitted and then geo set up. Just trying to decide whether to get some hubcentric wheel spacers too. Expensive and heard they can cause excessive hub wear. But my wheels are pretty sunk into the arches and a slightly wider track would be beneficial. Plus can 5mm or 10mm each side really harm the hubs that much? Need more research me thinks....
  14. I've only just got home from work. Plus I'm feeling a bit !Removed! so I'm going to back out again I'm afraid. Sorry guys.
  15. I've just read about that trick before coming back on here. Thanks :) Unfortunately not got calipers to measure it Stants. Hopefully the open spanner method will work, I'll check with Martin tomorrow at SSS to make sure too. I'm sure he'll know. And Dave - I've done a lot of research and OEM front and a 22mm adjustable rear seems to be the setup most people recommend/like for fast road use. With most saying get a bigger front and rear (22mm+ front and 24mm+ rear) if you're doing a lot of track use, which I'm not. So I'm replacing the drop links and bushes on the front only.
  16. As per the title basically. Anyone know what the standard size is? I'm wanting to buy some uprated bushes for it but can't find the size...
  17. I'm pretty sure mid 20's is normal in turbo Imprezas mate. Personally I get 22-25 on mixed driving - some enthusiastic and some cruising. 20 or just below if I'm constantly "on it". And 29-32 on a motorway cruise.
  18. Sorry for the delay in mine. Takes aaaaaggggggeeesss to convert and upload stuff on my PC. Heres some pics - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.457104431105958.1073741833.100004192154481&type=1&l=757234c94e And vid- Changes at about 10 min and then again at 12:30 Lost what was by far the best part due to battery running out :( Extra batteries for my gopro now on the shopping list.
  19. Gutted I missed this :(. Hope the next one is as good.
  20. I'm not going to be able to make it now :(. Something has come up at home. Hope it's a good turnout, hopefully will make the next one. Sorry guys :(
  21. Love that Evo pic haha! Looks a nice motor too. I've just cleaned and waxed mine. Finally used my electric polisher I got for Christmas to apply and buff it. It's excellent! Made what normally takes 1-2 hours take only 30 minutes including smaller areas I still did by hand. I do to think it doesn't beat a proper hand wax and polish when done properly but for quick application and top up its brilliant. And with some better quality pads and practice I can see it being just as good if not better. Well happy. :)
  22. Some great pics there mate! Are you taking it to Carnetix in Leicester? That's where I'm going to take mine for setup when I've got all my parts through :)
  23. Yea, they were £40 cheaper on Scoobyworld. Plus they said the gold ones are discontinued, can't even find them on Whitelines website so was a no brainer to get the silver ones instead. Ash - I definitely won't have them fitted before the 13th. Going to be at least May, possibly June before I do. Waiting until Ive got all the parts then going to have it all done at once with a full geo setup.
