The Denso ECU’s (Newage) don't have a manual reset function like the JECS ones (classic). The Denso units apparently have a non-volatile RAM, so even disconnecting the battery won't do it. The only way to reset these ECUs is via the OBDII diagnostics port using a computer. Until recently this has only possible at the main dealer or using other commercial solutions e.g. Delta Dash or SECS. So in other words can't really be done without using the OBDII on our cars :(

Probably thought you was lieing or was that wound up didn't listen :D

Cheers I nearly got a front end conversion for it to make it a hawkeye but I've had her that long now didn't feel right and not many bugs left. Well they keep getting broken for parts so won't be many left :( I've thought about getting a hawkeye too. But I keep hoping I'll win the lotto so I can send the bug to be fully resprayed engine rebuilt and retire her to the collection of about 6 subaru I have planned to buy along with a list of other cars :D And that's it it's pretty dangerous now though mate you been lured into the trap and it's difficult to get out :D I spent a long time on forums but not joining them but always loved the wave thing and the community of subaru owners well most of them, it does have some to$$ers :( but I'm yet to have been in any car culture that hasn't has a few. I've seen a few people they buy them and sell a few months later but I think you have experienced the Subaru love now :D Before you know it you'll be like me watch old footage of Colin McRae and Richard Burns on youtube with pure sound :D -

My favourite is the Hawkeye. Well I like them all :D I think I like the bug because not many people do :D But I have always said if I could have only had the standard head lights I'd have sold it on long before now. My bug eye what it looks like now. Well has bigger profile tyres on than that picture is a bit of an older one. It's in the garage covered in dust and bird !Removed! at the minute :D -
Oh right still no need for him to be like that, but then braking on the slip road what a prick, well credit to you mate for not chinning the w8nker :D

Oh my missus know's I sit and sulk like a spoilt child until she has to let me get something :D But yeah better than my 1st car. Very first car was when I was 14 me and my mate bought a horrible brown Austin metro but my true first car I bought was an Escort I loved it for a little while :D -
Didn't play the last one not sure why, but think this is another one that has made my must have games list. !Removed! good year to be a gamer :D

Yeah no worries :) the prom can't take place now they can't get all the cars in and out :( Shame been good fun with a meet up in Louth after for an hour or 2. As for facebook I'm on two 3 including our own facebook page. I find them at best shocking the amount of idiots that are allowed near a computer let alone on the internet and facebook :D So I wouldn't worry too much you're not missing out on much from my own experience anyway :D

Glad you got the OBDII scanner god send :) list of the codes here http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/217-obd-codes/ But P0051 common fault had it on both Scoobs :( What does this mean? OBD Code P0051refers to A P0051 DTC (diagnostic trouble code) refers to the O2 sensor (oxygen sensor) located on Bank 2 in front of the catalytic converter. There is also an oxygen sensor behind the converter which is Sensor #2. This O2 sensor #1 may also be refered to as an air/fuel ratio sensor since on some vehicles it is. It detects the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gas compared to the outside air and then vehicle's computer adjusts the air/fuel ratio going into the engine. The sensor is less effective when the exhaust gas temperature is low, so it includes a heater which is activated to help get better readings from the A/F O2 sensor. Essentially this P0051 code means that the resistance of the heater circuit is lower than normal. In most cases, that resistance level must fall below 0.8 A to trigger the DTC code. Note, this code is very similar in nature to P0031, P0032, and P0052 Symptoms Possible sumptoms of OBD code P0051 Most likely you'll not notice any symptoms other than the MIL (malfunction indicator lamp, a.k.a. the check engine light) will illuminate. Causes Possible causes of OBD code P0051 A P0051 DTC trouble code may be caused by one or more of the following: A short in the heater circuit in the sensor A failed O2 sensor heater Wiring/connectors broken/frayed leading to sensor and/or relay Failed PCM/ECM Possible SolutionsTo fix a P0051 DTC code, you'll need to do a proper diagnosis. To do that, you'll want to inspect the wiring and connectors leading to the sensor. Also if equipped with a heater relay and fuse, you'll want to check those as well. Use a digital volt ohm meter to: check for 12 volts at the heater circuit feed (hint: unplug the sensor and check at the wiring connector to do this measurement) check the ground circuit for continuity measure the resistance of the heater circuit (done on the sensor itself) measure the resistance and voltage of the wiring Refer to a service manual for the correct specifications (volts, ohms) for your vehicle. On some Toyota vehicles this code is triggered when the resistance of the heater circuit is below 0.8 A. With that said, a common fix for this DTC is to replace the air/fuel (O2 oxygen) sensor #1 on bank 2 (the side of the engine that doesn't contain cylinder #1). Please keep in mind that OEM (original equipment) replacement sensors are recommended (from the dealer). Aftermarket sensors can be less reliable and of poorer quality (not always, but more often). There's also a chance that replacement parts for the P0051 code may also fall under a federal emissions warranty (check with your dealer to see if it's covered). P0643 so don't have much info What does this mean? OBD Code P0643 refers to The ECM has detected that the 5 volt reference voltage is too high Symptoms Possible symptoms of OBD code P0643 - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) Causes Possible causes of OBD code P0643 - ECM Short circuit condition - Shorted sensor on 5 volt circuit - Failed ECM P1135 Only thing my check brings up is. - Faulty O2 Sensor - O2 Sensor harness is open or shorted - O2 Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

4k should easily sell that seen some selling for nearly 5k :) and as Gaulson pointed out price on scoobs does seem to be going up again :)

Oh right yeah about a month away lol before Japshow so plenty of time :) It's only a 1.2 clio nothing special but it's a 57 plate with 22k miles on it you can still smell the newness lol but costing a bit more than the original idea of £1,500 was going to spend lol, she's only doing her lessons at the minute. I did let her drive the scoob but it scares her to much I think :D -
