  4. yeah thats what I'm after out of sight out of mind until it goes wrong then it's lot's of swearing and talking to myself saying I should have gone with the flexi ;)
  5. Well I never went back mainly because of that, and the Afghanistan war broke out shortly after and two of the blokes from my home town got gunned down by one of the uniformed Police officers over there so I always think I never made it in for a reason :D But I agree I think a lot of people have started to get behind the armed forces now, more so with the Lee Rigby thing. But I have my own suspicions on that if I'm honest. Government and media scaremongering. But I have been in the AE and the way people use it and abuse the staff is disgusting.
  6. Not bad car's to be fair VW engines so not to bad for tuning and playing with I was very close to getting one many years ago :) But the fuel prices have come down now might be worth swapping when your done for the scoob ;)
  7. Oh great :( problem I have is I like thing's to be out of the way and hidden when possible :D I might look at the flexie take the alternator off again. I will have a butchers at it though 1st
  8. Done forza 5 now just the bonus races left but I will still play it anyway I still find myself in amazement still at the detail :)
  9. I can't get the sender on under the alternator not without extending away it's too big :( so thought I might as well have a look see where it is before I buy the parts :)
  10. I'd check it 1st and the filter might have damaged that with it getting wet like bogroll when it's wet goes mushy. But one checked everything have a better idea no point spending if you don't need to :D that could be spent on another mod :)
  11. Agreed with Pete I did basic training until I broke my thumb then told to reapply in a year. Was going in as an MP I got battered I even slept on the floor one night so my bed was immaculate. Next morning still had it tossed along with the wardrobe because he found fluff on one of the feet of the bed near the wall... **** :D
  12. Not the cheapest of things mate :( could risk the 2nd hand market if need be but through my own experience was a waste of time or I just have really bad luck :)
  13. Never watched it. My daughter only ever comes down now to bath or shower or to scurry for food and hide up stairs :)
  14. He is... I find it amazing he even remembers to breathe And I just point out he did say “I can’t blow my nose, I’ve never learnt how to do it,”
  15. Hello mate always nice to see members coming on from the Sheffield meet's hope you feel right at home I'm sure you will know a few of us on here then already Dave I'm sure will be along shortly ;) And the car sounds amazing. Any video footage of her in action ?
  16. I did think about taking my TMIC off to have a look about relocating my oil pressure sender. After removing the alternator twice and having a bad time off the last one snapping off in the bolt I'm not doing it again :D So job for the week or weekend maybe.
  17. Thats a good en too he get's my back up. have to leave Joey Essex wouldn't want to knock any sense into him I love it when he's on Celebrity juice Swap Joey Essex for David Cameron ;)
  18. Does sound like the common symptoms of a faulty MAF have you had the engine running and pulled the plug off the maf to see if it stalls ? Also have to looked at the filter might be clogged up and not letting enough air past I'd check the ECU for codes too :)
  19. I bought some red engine paint off fleebay about £6 But I know Halfrauds sell it but never used it.
  20. Sorry mate I couldn't tell you either, I'm sure one of the foresters do but I couldn't tell you which one it is either :(
  21. Mine has 114k on it but had a full engine rebuild just short of 70k miles now and I have gone through 2 clutches in that time
  22. Lock and load boys.... Better start running ;) What did you end up. Don't say an Audi ? :)
  23. As said above as you are driving it should move up to + depending on load I.e boosting but when you lift to change gear it should drop down again it wouldn't just stay at one point unless you a cruising with a steady foot.
  24. Think it's Pommy he has a set he's not complained about them yet. I just worry about something I've never heard of before, so yeah keep us posted mate :)
