  1. I would always say YES! ....... but in your case lol No I would say get one without hesitation. And I try to say that going on my past car's and being bias that I own one lol. I just don't think I've had a car I have loved to drive as much. And can only see me driving Scooby's for the near future to come. And I was a Evo fan dare I say that here :) after driving an Evo 4 for awhile. But that soon past ;) and I have sold my soul.
  2. Can't believe it did that much damage AWD as well :( And your now the quickest person I know to right off a Subaru that I know ;) Congratulation on that 6 week's was best I heard before today :D Ok guess the next most important thing to ask.... What's your next car going to be ? when funds allow :)
  3. Ouch I didn't think I was going to see that today :( And I don't think anyone will tell you off for the swears. I would bet my life on it everyone on here is above the age of 16 :D And agreed least nobody was seriously hurt yourself included. And feel for you mate I would be gutted. And without even being there can see it would be classed as a write off. :( Only thing I would do if I was you. Is break it down yourself for part's, keep it for part's and buy another if you have room. Or sell it to a breakers/ebay it :( And you said it needed a turbo pfft ;) And this song has sprung to mind. you might like it :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWNGjMufEcc meant as a joke might make you smile or feel even worse :( how long did you own the car for might I ask just out of interest ? For anyone not getting the music video skip to about 1min 5 seconds and listen for a few seconds :D
  4. My guess not a very good one is a faulty relay Does your break light's work at all. And have you tried the parking light switch and hazard switch ? And I would have a look at all the wire's and wiring harness to your light's front and back see if any have snapped
  5. £75 is that with part's and fitting I.e the bearing. And your buying the abs sensor to be fitted at the same time? I would say that was a good price. More shocked that was from Kwikfit think my mate charged me the same just to change a bearing. Meant to be at mate's rates that too :D be having a ring round next time then having words with him lol. So if it is what I put at the start yeah would say that is good. But would ring round some other places if you get time, and then tell Kwikfit you found it a bit cheaper they will try match the price. Did when I wanted a backbox fitting on an old Escort I had And for photo's upload pictures to http://imageshack.us/ or http://beta.photobucket.com/ And then copy Direct link from the site you chose to upload the picture to. Come back here and at the top where you type the message is a little picture icon, click that paste the link in there. And then post bada-bing bada-boom picture should show up like this :D
  6. Look's good mate and I love the idea of a road trip And if we can help in away we will. Have Impreza myself so not sure 100% with the engines on the legacy but doubt there is much. And your more then welcome to come here and chat. And more then interested to be kept up to date wiuth the project as I'm sure other members will be :D
  7. Wow look's like a good buy to me. Mind you any Subaru is a good buy in my eye's :D
  8. How strange I would have almost put money on the pipe's :( Yeah if you could let us know be grateful I can't think what else is at the back would have a look under the car also same side as the filler see if there is any corrosion around that area not an easy job I know but worth a look if you can :(
  9. :( Sorry to hear that mate Keep checking Ebay as well, only other place is a main dealer but would say will cost a bit if it's common :( I rang up about a Hub and bearing £165 think it was I didn't think was a bad price at all Front N/s. So worth a shot But feel free to post some picture's up I like picture's :D
  10. Wow a real job well done have to show us the final job. But big Kudos to you so far. And Halfords don't sell it on the shelf you have to get them to make it :( The can you can pick up and buy have good spray cap's, when you get them made they put silly little blue thing on :(
  11. Oh nice will remember that for future reference, learn something new everyday :D And my pride of the bunch is a Bugeye running 300BHP not sure I will take it anymore then that with the cost of fuel at this time. And with other project's planned anymore BHP gain's are down the list for the time being :D
  12. I know it's not much help but I bought these not expecting much but worked fine for me. Not the same car or year though http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Android-Torque-Car-V1-5-ELM327-OBD2-OBDII-Bluetooth-Diagnostic-Interface-Scanner-/170966415946?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item27ce647a4a https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.prowl.torque Not sure if it would have been as good as my mate's £2000 bit of kit but he's a mechanic :D
  13. Very nice look's well looked after any other mod's you got planned? And I always thought by plugging in another ECU from another car would mess up the car did you have no problem's ?
  14. Funny when I had the M3 I use to joke about being able to drive like a D&ck head because people expect it. And found just like with the Scooby people always force you to try and be a plonker on the road. But I've learned over time to just leave them to it, at the end of the day it's my fuel bill :) Not had any problems with Saxo's. But it did get the better of me a couple of time with a Corsa and a Punto at some lights was in my lane behind me moved over to the other lane next to me to try and pull off quicker. But I looked at that as I was showing them what they could have if the drive better :D And I did kill a Audi TT the other day who was riding my back bumper. Then drove past me like they was not even trying with a one finger salute. Mrs was not in the car she would have killed me :D
  15. Same as Jay 1st place I would look is fuel lines as Jay put it corroded / damaged pipe I'm sure someone posted the same problem a few weeks back
  16. Very nice mate Sti seat's too :D What mod's do you have planned if any ?
  17. Welcome mate what I would do 1st mate is try some Subaru breaker's give them a ring. I can't see why one from another model i.e WRX would not work, but would not want to put my life on that. So hope some details to some breakers will be more helpful to you. Best people to try these that I know of. Will try get you some more when I have a bit more time. 18. Hi mate how you getting on. Back on the road yet ?
  19. Haha Nice one But even that would be a no. But on the other hand, pun not intended. It's Steak and Blow@$& day so I hear. That would grant access to the passenger side seat. :D
  20. Cheers mate Would maybe just put a touch of silicone around the bung just in case.

  23. How did you get on find any problem's. I would have said it must be the seal around the boot. But you would see the water. :(
