  1. Might have to have a look into that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. And it doesn't matter which subaru you have its the same Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. It's double what I pay now and I doubt it does 60mpg, well I doubt it'd do it if I drove it, you'd just have to put your foot down all the time [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I've driven an XT 2.0 Turbo on an off road track, it's quite impressive what it can do, the hill descent assistance is very clever. It's very quick even on gravel. It did feel a little heavy though, but that might be because I'm used to an XV. It's a very nice car. I'm not sure i could justify the tax or fuel though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I Maguiared my wife's can up all shiny and clean. Couldn't do mine as back was giving some jip, looks like mines next, won't be long until I'm claying mine again Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I imagine it'll be cvt, the XT turbo currently only comes in cvt, no manual gearbox. Though it's pretty good, only odd thing is you don't hear it change gears like a traditional auto Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. No, just the Forester [emoji20] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Even the wife is quite fancying one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. But is this forester STi like the XV STi in that it's a few cosmetic changes and some aerodynamic changes and suspension improvements but nothing in the engine bay. Or is this a "proper" STi? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Me too, clay bars I've used for ages, tried and tested, all the top retailers use them, they wouldn't use the cloths so I'll stick with them. That said, seems to have done a nice job, would be interesting to do half a bonnet with a bar and half with a cloth see if there is a difference. Any details and cost of the clay cloth should anyone want one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I use Maguiar's (like a few people), my car is pearl White which is similar to silver in terms of waxing. If I clay the car I seal with a heavy carnauba wax (Maguiar's again) then I use their ultimate wax (it's about £26 from Halfords) This gives a shine and beading for 2-3 months, virtually just needs a rinse off to clean it. But this is just my way, others will have theirs no doubt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. They're not bad cars, I've had them as hire cars I just don't feel them. They're a bit bland and samy, they're sort of the car equivalent of kitchen roll, very useful, reliable but no one really notices it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Eww focus. Not a big ford fan, especially the focus, we have two chavved up STs next door which just about sums them up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Clay good, wax shiny, face smiley Hoping weather is good this weekend so I can do my 2 girls. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. You didn't need to say **** in a vectra, you could ha e just said vectra driver. The two go hand in hand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I think 2.5 seems to be the top whack, even the new forester XT is only a 2.0l Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I'm ok with my 9 secs to 60, plus the cheap tax and good mpg from the diesel, though I did drive the new forester XT and it was pretty rapid, just felt a heavy car though. I couldn't justify £500 road tax, that's just scary Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. That sounds like a result [emoji39] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. The guy next door to us has a crappy focus ST which he professes has 330bhp, he reckoned he could "have" my XV subaru crap in a quarter mile race easily, "not across a ploughed field" I said he just muttered as he stormed off in a strop. I reckon to be honest any 4 wheel drive could beat across the lights as with 300+BHP it'd take him mins to stop the wheels spinning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. You have to do some serious mileage though to offset the conversion cost to LPG. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. It was actually sucking the water up off adjacent roofs. Not quite as bad as the one that hit Alfreton that took some blokes roof off his house Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. as promised this the very short clip of the tornado that passed through stafford on the 8th October Sorry the clip is so short but was having trouble with the phone and it was through in less than a minute, weather was calm just before and after this so I reckon it was a weak tornado.
  23. Yep, had a small tornado come past my house yesterday. Nice and calm then all hell broke loose then calm again. Thought I was going mad to start with. Got about 8 secs of vid of it, will try to put up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. My baby is home now, all snug on the drive after her injuries after being attacked by a much older ford Ka. Off to Manchester tomorrow in her, first time for 2 weeks. Still, at least my car has got one more Ka off the road.[emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Just had a call to confirm my baby's coming home tomorrow, hopefully they will have done a good job, bumpers come pre-painted which is usually the thing they make a mess of. At least I'll be able to get rid of this crappy Peugeot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
