  1. Haha, my firs car the 1966 Landrover had had a little work done before I bought it and would do over 100mph, problem was it had drum brakes all round which meant every mph you went over 100 added another mile to your stopping distance. Oil tankers could stop quicker than 2.5t of Landrover with drum brakes. I had a brake failure in it once and run into the back of an Audi, just tapping it so I thought, actually collapsed the boot right up to the rear windscreen wrote his car off. I had to straighten out my aluminium number plate before driving home [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Detailing is claying the car down, removing contaminants fully back to top paint layer, may even include sanding the paint to smooth it out. Then various grades of polishing, sealants and waxes. It's a bit more than "fancy washing" it'll take a whole day more to it properly. Using a clay bar is basic detailing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I'll be one far cry 4 tonight [emoji7]. Looking forward to hunting honey badgers (not a euphemism) far cry is one of those games where you never really know what to do next. And we will have to all get on GTA and tat about, I reckon it'll be a really good laugh, hopefully get more take up than Forza H. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I've been very fortunate and never written off a car, though I had a few scares that's for sure. I spun the manta I had on a very fast bend in the rain, open mantas had a live rear axle and were well known for sliding on bends if you put your foot down too early, I did and spun down the middle of an a road coming to rest on s junct facing the wrong way, went round at least twice but amazingly hit nothing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. If I'm being honest, I'm not sure having used them that they are quite as good as a clay bar for a full detail. However as you would only clay bar a car once every 6months, I think these cloths are great for those in between washes where you want a really nice shine. They're much quicker to use so there is a very slight trade off but much less than I expected. I think I'll still clay once a year rather than my usual twice a year because the clay cloth will become part of my normal wash and wax routine and greatly reduce contaminant buildup and as such the need to clay with a bar. These are just my thoughts, others a little less anoraky may say that the cloth is everything they need. Some will never touch it because they're more anoraky about detailing than I am. For £12 deffo worth a punt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Nice, very Sweeney, my dad had loads of cortinas as company cars. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. 1996 Ford Mondeo 1.8td very dark days indeed. I bought it to replace a Honda Prelude 2.0EX, loved that car is it had pop up headlights. Sadly not the Mondeo, the most boring dull car I ever owned. My history in order with emoji ratings: 1966 Landrover LWB Safari [emoji5]️ Opel Manta GTE Coupe [emoji4] Opel Manta modified car [emoji7] Honda Prelude EX [emoji2] Ford Mondeo 1.8td [emoji24] Mazda 323 Sport [emoji39] Honda Civic EX 2.2D [emoji5]️ Honda Civic Type S 2.2D [emoji4] Honda Civic EX 2.2D [emoji19] Subaru XV 2.0D [emoji7] Obviously the 2 opels were actually the same car but it was a total rebuild. New engine gearbox etc, even a different colour. so I call it a different car To be honest with the exception of the Mondeo I don't think I've had a bad car history Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Only in game cash for in game humping Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah except, I always play as a female character which means Gambits character will no doubt spend then whole time trying to hump my character. I've always had female characters because there aren't many and I'm oddly more protective of a female character, plus the male ones always look like someone if want to punch. It's also funny when other players start chatting you up and then go off on one when they find out your a 6ft odd bloke.[emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I reckon we should arrange a bit party for all the TOWIE, made in Chelsea geordie shore and all the other dead beats who've become celebrities for being thick as a breeze block and pudding and !Removed! themselves on telly, some !Removed! role models for today's youngsters. Anyway have s big do, invite them all and then lock them all away from the public eye forever. George Clooney celebrity, Kiera Knightly celebrity, sir Anthony Hopkins celebrity, joey Essex numbnuts, think as pigshit loser. Stop putting these nobs on the telly and calling them celebrities. That's my rant for today Oh except for dicks on pushbikes in London. Here's s hint, if you want to stay alive on your bike in London. . . Red light means effin STOP! 12. There was something about this I read before, it was like the sound issues in forza 5. Clear your blue ray continuous memory/cache. Then clear Mac settings and restart. It's supposed to clear issues like this. No guarantees but worth a try. I reckon coop in this and all of us in GTA at once will be good laugh. Looking forward to getting my mitts on this now I've read all these messages. Last night in London tonight, well this week anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
