Looking for a Legacy. Which one should I go for?.
Late 2005 mate - as you mentioned though, my version was introduced in 2004 (have seen the odd 53-plate as the earliest example)

I can't compare as such, but can tell you about my outback. My version has 241hp according to the book. An outback is essentially a legacy on steroids...it has a higher ride height and some protective cladding compared to leggys. When I parked mine next to toms leggy saloon you could notice quite a difference in ride height...a good few inches I'd say. Regardless of that, I love mine...super smooth power Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you bought cheap, is it worth moving it on cheap and putting it down to experience? For specialists, I only use the Durham franchised dealer, but have heard of a specialist in Pelton near Chester le street. Can't remember the name though, sorry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was tempted by them, but they would have been £20 a corner extra for my size (compared to what I've ordered): http://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres/falken/ziex-ze914/215-55-r17-94w-273225

Tyre Speed Ratings - different rating used on front and back axles
Cheers Oj 89 - I will be matching them all up later this year; just don't want to waste the rubber left on the fronts (4-5mm)

Tyre Speed Ratings - different rating used on front and back axles
So I'm about to order a pair of new tyres ahead of my MOT next month. The one's I have my eye are are a higher speed rating compared to what I'm running currently (W rather than V). They will be fitted as a pair on the rear axle, so will be running V's on the front, W's on the rear until the fronts need replacing later this year. I've read up on this as much as I can and from what I can gather it won't cause any problems, either day to day or MOT wise. Does anybody 'in the the know' know anything different please? Thanks David

Just make sure you quote my price if they quote you more....a different franchise were quoting me a 650 ball park figure. Needless to say I didn't go to discuss it with them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Last night my daughter claimed she is perfectly capable of looking after her mum....this after 17 years of barely lifting a feckin finger round the house [emoji35] So unless she's really unwell (the wife that is), I expect to be there now. Are we still gonna have a 'stand bbq' and divvy out who brings what? I have a foldable BBQ and coals, lighting chimney etc so happy to bring those[emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ah yes....that one has passed in front of my eyes [emoji6] Good to know there are some quicker scooby auto options out there for future years [emoji3], even if it means going down the import route Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Don't think I've seen that one mate. There are several (at least 4 I've seen, 3 white 1 black) that come up on my 30 mile radius search on gumtree. Seems to be a company in Middlesbrough that specialise in importing. It's where I saw that red auto blob wrx advertised too. Can't believe how hard it is to find performance data for these [emoji35] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
