  1. I understand that bit, just thought they had a different disc that would withstand the metal on metal for longer. I don't know what is normal but I think with past cars I've usually gone through 2/3 sets of pads to discs, but i'm not a heavy braker either. I once got 20 miles into a journey and wondered why my cruise wouldn't come on in the Astra and it was because I hadn't touch the brakes. Eco driving/ light wallet for you
  2. the wrong dump valve yes and it will sound like a bus opening its doors, mine has an adjustable one as well and has a nice tight psst to it and makes it drive no different apart from helping me smile
  3. damn right there should be a fair few, a few from n yorks too so if its nice and in the middle should make it accessible to a` lot more
  4. My vote for lawny haha just down the road for me and would be able to bring a mate im his classic
  5. I can get up quite often and if theres a meet I'll try and plan for it but a vote on dates will help me. Only prob is I only know my rota for feb at the minute seem to be up once a week at the minute but at different parts so mid week weekend etc {stop waffling, bad Tim}
  6. Ok I'll take that one, you gonna change the title then and get some pics up? I want to see my (relatively) consistent Podium :D
  7. thought the ferodo ones were ferrous and needed matching discs otherwise they'll chew threw discs, or is that only a certain version of their pads. Just something to be aware of
  8. I do and it is full, It did smell a bit warm the other day but it came more from the turbo :( I shall have to keep an eye on it. I do have a scan gauge that gives temp readings from the ECU and moves a lot more than the standard gauge and even gives a reading before the thermostat opens. Can I mix coolant or shall i just add a bit of water, as I don't know what coolant is in it other than it's bright green and tastes amazing
  9. I'm sure I'll get over it as there's no way I can afford a one yet
  10. ooh heck better put some in mine, its sat pretty much near the bottom of the bottle... and think i will acquire some new exhaust gaskets then
  11. My mate is going to show me 5 tonight I'm just hoping it doesn't ruin 4 for me, and if you noticed, freed up enough space for disc 2 now whoop!
  12. Think we should have a thread where people who want to can share Forza videos and pictures sorry if there is one somewhere already I'm useless on forums I'll start with my practice for tomorrow nights race Think I may need to soften it up a bit. No I didn't manage to stick it, the result is below Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  16. And shift times are so much slower in AT, though these subarus have sweet spots and I think that's the hardest thing to judge, now does that mean AT is getting it right or just shifting at a generic point Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Same as being on a bike late at night think a lot of the time it helps there night shift go quicker Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  22. Know this feeling, upsides and downsides to it. Last time I got a tug was in my old VXR now that was an ASBO looking thing down in Banbury was really suspicious of the car being so far from home till he found out my profession ;). Ended up having a right old natter with him when he realised I wasn't 18 decent bloke
  23. duh silly me, must be tired
  24. MT with clutch is the way forward that way you don't have to waste PI on aftermarket catches to speed up your changes lol. Surprised forza hasn't written it in to destroy your gearbox for doing it too fast like on the first one did damage for hitting the limiter
