  1. Fitted this yesterday Did some research and 99% sure its a H&S system either way it cost me £80 was an absolute bargain and sounds fantastic. So much character so happy with it. The tip suits the car so much more than my old ninja 2 as well
  2. Did it to my last iPhone to unlock stuff like personal hotspot before it was a standard feature and get a few free in app purchases to boost a few games that was about it really Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Yep my concerns as well think it may be a little project and means i can have a bit of pride in my own work as well
  4. Does it pop and !Removed! like a ******?
  5. Wow talk of annealing takes me back to my days of training. Don't think ally would anneal at 180C but definitely think if there were micro fractures beforehand it would stress them as the metal expands under heat and amplifying weak points in the wheel. Think ill stay clear of powder coating these wheels then and will just spray them instead.
  6. does your clutch judder?
  7. Nope I've made my mind up in my non-professional opinion that is an intermediate/mid pipe you are looking at not a decat pipe lol It will still fit though
  8. Not sure now maybe if the angle the picture is on was different it would be easier to tell. and the engraving could be to do with noise as well
  9. the turbo back i've bought the down pipe is one piece replacing the first and second cat, like thisGD SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI EXHAUST DOWN PIPE DECAT 01- DP7650 I think the 2nd decat pipe looks like this if you were to keep the cat in the down pipe http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-impreza-wrx-sti-2nd-decat-pipe-exhaust-/161233031168?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item258a3cd000 note the angles are a lot sharper however you would still have your standard mid/intermediate pipe in place and then the rest of it is cat back i.e. the pipe you are looking at and a back box hope this isn't more confusing
  10. I hate having to use them image hosting sites just a pain in the ****. Things are different when you have all week with nothing to do hence the new photos from the drive today and the new siggy lol
  11. Go P1 blue looks mint like wrblue but a bit lighter. If you're paying for a respray may as well make it something different To those that saw, this is my mates next classic after the white one with pink wheels, just to prove he isn't a complete traitor to Subaru
  12. He wants to know which pipe he's potentially buying; so in answer to his question I win I have seen that other picture and did find it useful getting my head round the scoobys engine layout so yours is just as helpful in other ways ;) :P
  13. Yes I adjusted my driving style so i let off the throttle (short delay) then press the clutch in. Still smooth changes and still catches me out every now and again. Think it must be something to do with cable throttle as I haven't had one since I was 18 all been !Removed! drivebywire since then
  14. mines better :P
  15. or intermediate pipe as it says in the above diagram, not much in gains to be had but should change the note and volume quite a bit
  16. It says Decat but to me just looks like the mid pipe after the 2nd cat
  17. Wish i could mate I've been waiting for a flight for a week now going stir crazy here didn't even bring my exhaust with me to fit what a waste of a week
  18. Resistor Link ------> this found it in that intercooler cover thread from a while ago, knew it would be a derailed thread
  19. It was a thread steal as usual lol so prob wont be anything originally to do with exhausts. Maybe a new member post lol
  20. Mine is towards the bottom but header is always full, when you say dirty what does it look like?
  21. haha thats nice to know, and *cough* de-tangoed and sprayed ;) I can assure you it was no where near that clean when I finally got it home
  22. By the looks of things mine hadn't seen anything other than tarmac until i got in and thought Yes, I am Colin Mcrae B) and went and found every bit of legal off road I could in my area
  23. It was me you posted that resistor for but couldn't for the life of me find it. Not that it matters now anyway
  24. A little progress following my Scooby. Never done a thread like this before but with the Scooby I'm hoping I will actually have something to show at some point. It's not going to be updated that often as I spend a lot of time away and don't get as much chance to play with it as I really would like, but hey it pays the bills So anyway a few pics of when I first picked it up in january this year It has a Ninja 2 back box, turbo smart dump valve fog covers and tints, still pretty standard. First thing I wanted to do was tint the rear window as for some reason the back 2 sides were already done. Maybe the last owner wanted to be able to see when he was reversing at night ;) If I ever get them redone I will have them Lighter so its not so much of a Limo/drug dealer look the astra in the background is my trusty workhorse btw First job on the list was the headlights, imo they looked a bit weedy. It's hard to explain but I didn't get along with them. So for the huge sum of £10 I purchased the supplies to go from this to this If anyones interested and wants a write up let me know but basically it involves sticking them in the oven pulling them apart painting them putting them back together. I fitted some chromed indicator bulbs so there is now no orange at all. In the future I have thought about completely changing the layout of the lights just to be different but will have to wait and see and get my fire extinguisher topped up first. B) Waiting to be fitted is a turbo back double decat de res centre with 3 different backboxes to choose from so I can get the sound just right Future plans are STI Rear Wing Front Winglets Front splitter Alloys Current alloys to be powder coated dark grey/charcoal and used as winter wheels Head unit Power mods to sub 300bhp Be gentle...
