  1. didn't think about the other rubber parts and potential internal damage too. thinking about it now, I wouldn't bother, it could just be a load of hassle and a money pit
  2. yeah, it was just me in the car. I came up the hill about 70 and there was loads of gravel on the right hand corner, the back end went left and I steered left, but it gripped and the back end just came round to the right, I just froze and braked (the wrong thing to do, but I just panicked :( ). I slid up the road sideways and onto the grass, I hit a concrete milestone with the rear driver door and the window smashed and that straightened the car up, the rear passenger side hit the wall and I just kept sliding on the wet grass into the lamp post :( you can have any bit you want done, one panel, side, etc. think of accident repairs, they don't respray the car each time.
  3. good pics
  4. £300 for a bonnet I had the front end of my last blob done and that was only £400. like you say though, looks stunning afterwards well, until you do this to it :(
  5. I've not used A/C for ages and I tried it last week and it was just warm air. I can't remember how cold it was or how cold it was in my last blob. the only aircon I can remember was in my leon FR, OMG it was like being in a blast freezer
  6. personally I'm not keen on carbon bonnets, so I'd just get it resprayed
  7. vredestein ultrac sessantas are the best tyre I have EVER used. the only other I would consider is Goodyear eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Goodyear/Eagle-F1-Asymmetric-2.htm
  8. got my aircon refilled, it's colder than it was, but not as cold as I was expecting found my mudflaps in the shed, still not fitted them though :P
  9. depends how much it is, or is it for free? if it's very cheap and reasonable condition, it's worth spending £2k to get roadworthy and LPG conversion. it should give you a few more years of cheap and happy motoring
  10. if you want to save money you need to buy a cheap little old car, no point trying to save money and spending £5k + on a newer car, it's false economy. a mate has got a classic wagon turbo, he was using it for work everyday and racking up the miles. he bought a kia pride to use as a daily, 50+ mpg and £200 insurance. he has saved enough money for some proper mods, he's now running 380 + bhp, sti block, 6 speed and meth. when she can drive, she can choose the car
  11. you could use a handheld steam cleaner on some areas though, something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230839991912 could be useful
  12. Joel, everybody leaves their car for a while. there's no point in going if you're not going to have a good look around
  13. He's up in Sheffield, so a bit far away from you. He mainly used engine degreaser and wd40, then nail scrubbing brush and toothbrush, and a bucket full of patience [emoji1]
  14. will it be ok if I lick the condom clean first?
  15. very nice I'm sure I'll be under it, it's normally either red hot or chucking it down
  16. would I risk it? not a flippin' chance a lad on one of the forums I go on does engine cleaning. he spent 3 hours with a toothbrush cleaning mine and when he had done, the engine looked like new, he only charged me £40 too
  17. just found another quid, it's coming your way :)
  18. nice one, don't mind chucking some cash in towards the stuff have you got a gazebo on the stand?
  19. nice one do we need to take our own burgers or are people already taking loads and we can just chuck some cash in for them?
  20. I put the group as the dukes of fenland [emoji106]
  21. Still waiting for photos [emoji1]
  22. The mods you have planned are good and you have covered all areas. The only problem is, you have to remove the turbo to fit the uppipe and then refit the old turbo, then pay for the turbo swapping next time and you will pay for an extra remap too. So for the second year it will cost you about £400 to fit the turbo and map again. I'd just do it all in one go.
  23. come on people, have a look down your sofa's. the 74p's add up
  24. voted :)
