  1. no, cos it's not an 08, it's 98 :P
  2. had an interior valet done, can't believe the crap that came out of the seats and carpets, I was going to clay bar it on Sunday, but the roof on my workshop decided to blow off in the wind overnight Saturday. so all my tools and everything in my workshop got **** wet through, so spent Sunday fitting a new roof. just need a dry day to clay bar and polish ready for the custom car show on sunday 18th https://www.facebook.com/events/1436974566516598/?fref=ts anybody fancy coming along? got a couple of places left
  3. wow, what a terrible advert :o
  4. good idea, could do with saying 'no replies, only likes' then it's just video's and not a load of comments
  5. I think the same with front fog's, pointless really. I looked into fitting driving lights a few years ago. it's the reflectors in the lamps the dictate if they are fog or driving lights, fog are wide angle for close vision and driving lights are narrow angle for distance. think of the focus on a mag light one other thing in the law, fog lights can be switched on with the side lights on, but driving lights should only come on with full beam
  6. if you take the door cards off and other bits of trim, the wires should just be on connectors, disconnect the wires, remove the rubber grommets and pull the wires out, then loosen the 4 hinge bolts, once the door hinges move and are loose, remove the bolts fully (don't remove the bolts straight away, the hinges will be 'stuck' to the door frame) (a mate was fitting a new steering wheel and I told him to do the same, he knew best though and took the nut off completely, when trying to pull the old wheel off, he was using all his strength and the wheel finally came free and hit him straight in the face!!!!!)
  7. Gaulson, get some balls man, 5k rpm and drop the clutch :D
  8. Stanton, which app do you use? that van driver, what a *****! a couple of years ago I had a similar thing. a dual carriageway goes into one lane and there are chevrons in the middle, I saw a van (city link) a bit behind flashing it's lights, it then went onto the chevrons and passed about 10 cars, the chevrons turned into a double white line around a corner, he carried on and passed a car turning right (god knows how the car turning right missed him), I phoned the coppers and said it might be stolen, they said there were no reports on it. the next morning I phone the company and spoke to a manager, he said the driver had had complaints before, but he needed something more official, I said I phoned the police first and he said 'was it that bad?' yup, he said he could check with the police and if his driving was that bad that I reported it then that was great (but not for the driver) and he was going to lose his job. I felt bad, but he shouldn't drive like a prick, putting peoples lives at risk. if you drive a sign written van, then if you drive like a prick, someone WILL report you
  9. glad you got it all sorted :)
  10. I replied yesterday, but my post has gone [emoji54]. Welcome to the club I think they will fit, the door cards are the internal material trim.

  20. mine felt like it was running great too, but it was running 1.8 bar hopefully the jubilee clip will have sorted it, but get the CEL reset and then you will know if it's fixed, if not the CEL will come on again £40 to get the CEL reset or £2,500 for an engine rebuild?
  21. can't believe that nick, proper gutted for you :(
  22. I thinks it's air con too, maybe high pressure side. the only cap I have touched is [if you look at your picture] to the right of the top mount and in line with the top row of fins, there are 2 pipes parallel, thin one and thick one, I think they are the low pressure side
  23. nice car, I've got a black blob too :) mine had a cracked tee piece near the DV, it lit the CEL, I looked at the boost gauge and it was 1.8 bar!!!! running that lean can melt the engine :o I sorted the tee piece and then had to get the CEL reset it's easy to fit a boost gauge, the hardest bit is getting the pipe into the cabin :P
