  1. haven't taken any yet :( it's loads shinier than it was, but when it's polished it just makes all the parking dent's (previous owner) more obvious :( I saw pix of the water sprayer while it was still fitted to the last car, it just looked like a small container (like the washer bottle) that sit's in the little gap. when It was delivered OMG I can't believe how big it is. had to takes the strut brace, intercooler and a few other bits off and it was still a wrestle to get it in the gap. it's well designed to fit around all the air con pipes and other bits, still can't believe it fitted in
  2. last week I fitted an intercooler water spray and did the throttle body coolant bypass mod today I've done a clay bar, super resin polish and carnuba wax. looks loads shinier :)

    Spec c ?

it would look great lowered on rota's, but not keen on the ducktail spoilers (like a Vauxhall omega???), I think Impreza's should have the STI spoiler or be spoilerless (looks great on some, but doesn't look right on others)
  4. I should be there, I'm working in Nottingham, so hope the traffic is ok on my way home (unlike tonight, M1 shut)
  5. I get about 70 miles to £20, the lowest I've had is 15 miles to a tenner......... :D :D :D
  6. lol, I'd love to do that :D
  7. that audi is horrible, WTF is he thinking

it doesn't look right, but there's just something about white blob's and hawk's though

  10. don't know what's wrong with it?????
  11. it's set as public
  12. not been on much recently, been mad busy at work. I've got a new phone (S5) and I've been using the autoguard app. I've had a few near misses, but most of them I didn't have the dash cam on (an hour and a half drive each way to nottingham kills the battery) it was a mad 2 minutes on the M1 on monday, 3 near misses with lorries cutting me up, 50 seconds, 2 minutes and 2 mins 30

  14. at Martin's, not Gambit's

    Dilemma

it's a no brainer tell her you can remove the 6 speed and sell it for £2k and fit a 5 speed for £500 get some auto trader ad's to compare, blob wrx £4k, widetrack sti £8k, only £2k to upgrade ;)
  18. also, it's a direct plug in to the std wire, not cutting and joining. and if you ever want to take it off and sell it, you will get your money back
  19. I've had 2 fibreglass copy spoilers and both have had the same problem, they crack and let water in :( from a breaker you should be able to get a genuine spoiler in the correct colour, with stronger spring's thrown in, for £300 how much for a replica? £150? plus paint. £100? then get hold of the stronger springs. not much cheaper for a much inferior item ;) I paid £200 for my genuine one from a breaker, because it was black (a 'less' desirable colour) it was cheaper (and matched my car :D ). so you could get a black genuine one for £200 and spray it yourself
  20. and there's http://www.knickerpicker.com/knickers walk forward, turn around :D :D :D
  21. the sti spoiler will fit straight on, but there are more fixings you can use if you don't mind drilling the boot. i fitted my sti spoiler a year ago just using the wrx fixing points and not had a problem. you will need the stronger boot torsion bars too, otherwise it will be heavy to open the boot :) a prodrive back box won't be much louder, have a look for a cat back system. 2.5" is the std size, it should unleash some of the growl if you get a deresonated centre section, or go for a 3" if you want it louder be careful with the dump valve, some can cause running issues ;)
  22. Hi mate Welcome to the club Car looks nice and tidy
  23. I did that on my last blob, not got round to doing it on this one yet. The intercooler absorbs heat from the engine and warms air up a bit, so if the throttle body has hot coolant in it, that warms the air too. If you bypass it, it just keeps air intake temps a bit lower
  24. That supra looks great [emoji41] Wonder if it makes it into production looking like that? I like Porsches and Lamborghini's too I nearly bought a Porsche cayenne turbo, once owned by a man utd player, it had a factory power upgrade to 715bhp [emoji15] then I found out the highest mpg it could achieve was 12mpg [emoji50], God knows what it was if you put your foot down!
