I prefer Tesco's to shell, not sure if it's placebo, but it just 'feels' better my nearest shell is 6 miles away (a new petrol station, used to be 9 miles to nearest) but I'd rather go 8 miles to the nearest Tesco's for momentum 99 :)

I never thought about the effects on the metal, but having seen failures happen, to me it is a concern. I'd rather warn someone so they can make their own decisions, rather than not say anything and have an alloy fail have you read the links in the thread? I bet most are 'over engineered' but those designed with strict tolerances could be affected with the heat treatment

I've fitted decat uppipe, 3" decat turbo back exhaust, with a small res box and rear box, it's not that loud, just releases the proper boxer sound to it's full potential :D
