got my full wheel alignment tomoz afternoon, excited... just hope it goes smoothly without any problems popping up.

Filled up with vpower again today. Noticed that on my way home I averaged 37.8mpg with the new tyres on. Previously, I was looking at 33-35mpg with the old tyres. Not bad eh. Will have to see how it goes over the next few days, but a few extra mpg would be nice lol.

Can I ask a question about that scoop. As you have a 1.5 non turbo engine and therefore no intercooler beneath the scoop. That scoop will allow airflow into your engine bay, im not sure what impact that would have on the engine, but wouldn't it also allow rain in as well? If you had a intercooler there, any rain water would be collected and drained away as per. However, as you dont have an intercooler all the rain water is going to go all over the engine bay? Potentially over electrics? But also isnt there a risk of the engine not drying and rusting? Feel free to disagree though.

That looks in good nick mate. I have to admit, I'd take a estate or outback over a saloon anyway. I do love my legacy saloon, its a lovely car to drive but I'd love to have the extra boot space of an estate and higher ground clearance of an outback. Maybe try and grab it for 2500?

Afaik, the R denotes that the engine is a VVT engine. I only know as my legacy is a 2.0R. Something like that anyway.

Lovely to drive, average about 33-35mpg (using vpower) over a mix of motorways and town driving. I paid 2900 for mine with 85k on the clock, so that's not a bad deal tbh mate.

Yeah I thought that, but when I looked up 4 wheel alignment, (which is what they claim offered) I realised that all they were checking was the "toe" alignment with the standard lasers. Not a full toe, camber and caster alignment. So i've booked it in (these guys) to get the job done properly.

Got the new tyres fitted an asked them to do a four wheel alignment. Rears were out 4mm, although they said the bolts were seized on so they couldn't do it. Would 4 mm effect things? They adjusted the front wheel alignment, although now my steering wheel isn't straight. Annoying. -.-

Have you checked Ebay? Might be able to find a replacement from a breaker.

My new tyres still aint turned up... seems they are coming from Germany though, so cant complain really.
