I !Removed! hate insurance time. Its one of those things that you pay for and get nothing back in return. Remember to buy at the end of the month as its always a bit cheaper.

oh yeah, i've got some metal polish... was thinking of waxing it too? i ordered the belts, were pretty cheap on ICP so will ask Martin to fit them for me. I haven't changed them before and I doubt that the previous owner did either. So figured i'd get them both changed with one of them squeaking loudly on start up.

quick q. im planning to get Martin to replace my power steering and alternator belt, as well as the Air con belt. So do i need to / should I replace the pulleys too?

Haha cheers mate, Gave it a wash and a wax this afternoon. Cant wait to dry it to work tomorrow :) Also, whats the best way to maintain a stainless exhaust? should i wax it or something? kinda wanna protect it from the salt/winter grime

Id try and find a decat friendly mot tester. Also how did it pass the mot test last time? Im presuming it was still running with a decat then, so it must have passed somehow?

Booked in for a new exhaust on the 15th Jan and then for a service and Mot at Martin's on the 23rd. Happy days

Ive been watching some shell 5w40 oil on your site recently... yesterday it was priced at 22.50 plus shipping Today the price is 24.95 plus shipping... 15% off sale and Putting the price up to make up the difference eh. -
Do any of you use 5w40 even if the manu suggests 5w30? My manual says 5w30, bit many sites suggest 5w40. Is there much of a difference?
