  1. If it's anything like a Bug then there are 3 bolts on top and a plastic bung behind the front bumper. One of them ones that need the middle pulling out before it releases (same as what holds the boot liner in)
  2. I doubt it makes any difference to it at all, I presume you would prefer it out of sight?
  3. 1.4 bar... wicked ;). 0.9 feels nice, think I'm gonna have to get my remapped. Seeing as I had my turbo rebuilt and it's got a better turbine installed I will just get a fuel pump and injectors :).
  4. Yeah easily. I've posted it to facebook, also if you pause the vid you can get his reg
  5. Had a couple of things happen today, First is being overtaken in a 30 by a young lad in a Ford KA. Annoyingly didn't get to have my revenge :(. Second is a close call with a Combine, weirdly it's better i was travelling quite fast. If I was slower the combine would have been closer to the corner right?
  6. I love the look at front mounts! Tidy job that :). I've just been out for a drive, b roads to town and back. Driving through town a group of lads said "nice car mate"... always puts a smile on my face. Got overtaken by a KA in a 30... annoyed I didn't get chance to take him back. Also got a little close for comfort with a combine! Got vids of both, will be in the dashcam section soon.
  7. They look massive! Very beastly :)
  8. Car looks lovely, welcome to the club! There are a few BOV you can get, best thing to do is look at ScoobyWorld. Then look at youtube videos of ones you like the look of to see what they sound like, I'm swapping from a Bailey to the HKS this weekend hopefully, mainly because I fancy a change. If I like it the Bailey will be up for sale soon.
  9. There's some footage from the Transcend :). Seems okay but I'm having a little trouble playing back the files on my computer? Also sound is rubbish. When I play a file back it's jumpy and crashes if I try and skip forward. If I put it in the editor it works perfectly but I lose sound altogether?. I have just updated the camera so hopefully that fixes these issues.
  10. Got my dashcam today, already set it up :). stuck it behind my rear view so it's not in my vision, wire tucks neatly around the edge of the windscreen and around the dash. Plugged into the cig lighter for now, will post a vid when I get home.
  11. No idea, I'm sure it was a micra though. It had a 15 - 20 mile an hour head start on my by the time I put my foot down if that makes a difference lol. Just been looking, could have been a tuned 160sr model.
  12. I just had to fend off a Micra on a long empty straight.... I was like "What is going on??". Still baffled now... On the bright side, I won ;)
  13. I've bought a Transcend DrivePro 200, trying to decide on the best set up for it. Going to have it as a permanent fixture in the car so I want it to be quite subtle. So is there a good way to hide wires in trim and what would be the best place to mount it? It will arrive tomorrow so I can put some pictures up for a better idea.
  14. EDIT: Double post
  15. I have the same problem, no code. If I can change the code then fantastic! I'm presuming the radio key is the Fob?
  16. Did my first day of coach to 5k... wasn't so bad except I was running in a mini hurricane. Now sat watching the weather miss my car thanks to the hedge I'm parked next to, all the rain is going straight over ;).
  17. My RAD is only a couple of years old so should last for a nice amount of time unless I'm unlucky. The idea is to eliminate a cause of corrosion from the system and lower running pressures, worth it I would say.
  18. I'm planning to do it, just wanted to make sure I had no leaks after my little bump earlier in the year. Looking promising, still bang on after 600 miles :). It's perfectly safe to do, yeah costs a bit but you need to remember you wont be swapping it every again (y)
  19. Don't think so, I watched my brother in law do it (he's a mechanic) and he took the MAF off and sprayed electrical cleaner inside. Then waited for it to dry out before plugging it back in, worked a treat for me.
  20. I've been pondering what to do with the Subaru, while i've got two cars I could get it mapped with a new fuel pump and injectors. I've noticed it's popping quite a bit now, didn't used to do it this much so wondering if the map is bad?
  21. Might be a MAF problem, could be worth just giving it a clean. It's amazing what problems a dirty MAF can bring.
  22. Get some waterless coolant, will never need to change it again unless you spring a leak.
  23. Been out for my drive to get fuel... had to fend off a C3, yes, a C3 :(. He was right up my behind, decided you only live once and drove like a bad man. Took him 5 minutes to catch up once I had got to the 30 zone :). Then followed a drunk/texting driver in a 15 plate Golf who was all over the road and I mean all over... wish I had my GoPro!
  24. Been a bit out of it past couple of days due to having a tooth out, Subaru hasn't come out from under the cover since the weekend. Going to be a double whammy tonight, need fuel in the Seat on way home and then the Scoob needs some on my joy ride tonight! lol
  25. I will have that HKS Dump Valve off you
