  1. Can't believe you just compared Subaru to Audi Stants..... :(. Awesome wheels Savage, quite fond of the over the top lime green calipers as well ;)
  2. Getting impatient, not heard anything about my car for a while. I'm guessing it's getting close to being completed!
  3. Bummer, nice little project to keep you busy
  4. What you doing to it?
  5. It has no engine?
  6. I know, very excited! Caliper seal kit arrived yesterday so when my car is back I will sort the brakes. Whack 4 new tyres on and the spoiler then good to go
  7. Its amazing how much wheels can cost isn't it savage, all adds up very quickly. Especially with nuts, tyres and center caps lol. That's good if the gate came off a lot worse stants
  8. It's a Beta Rev 3 125cc, all the weight is low down and it's really easy to ride. Problem I have it I've never ridden a motorbike, so I'm learning to ride from scratch. The bike didn't run right for months after I got it so barely rode it until last week when we found the problem, now runs like a dream :D. Now balancing on a plank of wood, good start. Don't actually know when she's due back, the guy is doing my rear quarter for £300 and my bumper for £100.... said he will probably have a go at some other bits if he's bored. So will see :).
  9. Missing the scoob, it's hidden away in some garage with someone I don't know... lets hope he does a good job :).
  10. Had a very busy weekend which is why I've been quiet. I now have my wing and both doors swapped so it's ready for the body shop. Heading there next weekend and next time I see the car it should be ready for the road :).
  11. Its all down to the body shop guy but I'm hoping a couple of weeks. I just need to swap the doors and wing over before i send it there. Probably do that tonight or Friday then get in touch with the guy. Either before it goes or when its back I need to strip the calipers and replace the seals. Also got 4 new tyres to go on my 18's, new valves and wheel nuts. Then the final addition is the spoiler
  12. Been working on the sub tonight, fitted the fuel flap and removed the broken bumper to reveal a bit more damage but nothing too bad. Also looks like the dents in the rear quarter can be rolled out
  13. I'm from the coast just above Preston. I don't mind traveling though
  14. Very fancy, I like it!
  15. No more pics until its completed
  16. Loving the off roading vids, I've been quite a few times but not so much anymore as my brother got rid of his 4x4 :(. He's planning on getting another and doing the weekend Kielder forest thing :).
  17. Well I was going to leave the top strip carbon and colour code the bottom and sides. Much prefer it all carbon, looks great with my other carbon bits and my wheels . Paintwork is the last thing to do, sorting out a wing on Monday then hopefully off to body shop. It's a wing Stants, I was going to get a roof one but going to wait now.
  18. Finished work for a week, time to spend doing things to the car and mainly having fun
  19. If they growl that's just what grooved and drilled discs do, sound quite mean. If it feels more like you are hitting bumps in the road is could be break judder caused by discs being warped or maybe pads at the end of their life. Cheap option would be put new pads in and see if it makes a difference :).
  20. I've got one in my scoob, feels good to me but I haven't driven a scoob without one so don't know the difference. I can however tell the difference going from my seat leon to the scoob lol. Very nice feeling :).
  21. I took my boss out in mine, he loved it. Couldn't believe how quick it was :).
  22. What road do you live on? So i know when to look out :). No surprise he got one, I saw this one and had to have it. My brother now wants another one because he misses it.
