  1. Can't beat a good road trip :D
  2. Nice work, great example of a Subaru :). When mine is back on the road I shall keep an eye out for you! Maybe do a mini meet
  3. Can't beat roads in the Yorkshire Dales... just about any road around there is great. Same with Scotland as they look after their roads. In the Lakes I really enjoy the road that goes past Buttermere... when my Subaru is back on the road I shall go up there and get a video :)
  4. I thought about doing that with the wheel I broke, there is a big pot hole that has opened up in my village. Perfect for it... ;). My Subaru parts should be posted today, will have them for the weekend! Got next week off so I can do some stuff to the Subaru such as sort the wheels and calipers out. Clean the discs and put new pads in. It's getting so close to the end now, can't wait. Browsing ebay last night there is a Subaru Samber and a Subaru Brat! Quite interested in the Brat as they are getting rare.
  5. http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/uploads/Knowledge/sigma_m30_manual.pdf I found that but i think it's from an earlier model as most options are "for future use". Couldn't see the beep option
  6. It probably will have had it's cambelt changed, that's two belts worth mileage. However it is always better to be safe than sorry, if it hasn't had it done that shows how good Subarus are ;). I had loads of smoke from my up pipe after I had my turbo rebuilt, due to a mixture of the up pipe being heat wrapped and having stuff dribbled onto it. Do you know if the car has had any mods?
  7. http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/ggpautostyling?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2754 That's who I got them from
  8. Bought some side indicators on ebay last week, they haven't arrived. Asked what's going on and they say I haven't paid.... got pictures of the transaction in paypal, showing the ID's. Waiting to hear back from them now. Looking forward to later this week when all the other Subaru stuff arrives :D
  9. That's the spoiler I've got coming, with a bit of colour coding it's going to look great I think ;).
  10. Looks great Stants, you really can't tell it's age at all. Very impressed :). I haven't done anything to mine today, waiting for parts. I have however been working on my trials bike, finally found the problem to it not running right (blocked Jet in carb). Now it's running sweet... well, it was until the plug gave out. New plug then happy days :).
  11. Yeah not far away then are you :). I'm a bit further north than Preston, in Pilling
  12. Where in Lancashire you from ven? Judging from the way you said up to Leyland you are below Preston?
  13. They tell you not to look at the eclipse yet give no warning for that? shocking :O
  14. Gaulson 2001 Blue Subaru Impreza WRX
  15. It's looking promising Gambit yeah :D
  16. It's okay they have got some coming next week, my dispatch has been delayed until weds now but I don't mind if it's all coming :). Don't want to say what's coming as I'm trying to leave it all until it's complete!
  17. Carbon stuff arriving next week :). One of my goodies isn't available so I'm a bit down about that.
  18. I've gone for the carbon fibre one :). Not from there though, I'm also only having the top level of it in carbon, the rest colour coded. All a waiting game at the minute... parts and body work guy
  19. Spent £1200 on the Subaru so far this week! Bought a spoiler, not gone wrc but part carbon sti . Also bought a couple of other carbon goodies to match. Pay day next week in time for the body work... I'm aiming to have this car looking better than it did before
  20. No spoiler isn't an option, wouldn't even lower myself to the standard WRX one ;). Yeah big fan of the WRC one, just it sticks out past the boot lid and I'm not sure I like that. I keep looking at it though!
  21. As many of you know my UK300 spoiler got broken by a hedge, I have a couple of options on hand just wondering which would be the best one to go for: 1, repair the UK300 spoiler and put it back on my car 2, get an STI spoiler 3, get a WRC style one and go crazy Quite like the idea of going crazy but maybe just go for the STi one, just not sure where to get one. Any thoughts on this would be great :)
  22. Prodrive parts I know of are: Y-Pipe De-cat center pipe and back box Remap There are also other parts which aren't for power: Springs Spoiler (UK300) Mudflaps Alloys
  23. That's it, car is straight and new cv joint is on :). The sti engine cradle looks great and the subframe has been cleaned and sealed. Warmed the car up, drove it down the track and all steering is spot on so very happy. Gave it a good revving to get rid of the moisture built up in the exhaust... That was fun ;). Now just the body work to do.
  24. Thanks guys :). Waiting until next week until I send it to the body shop because the guy at the breakers said he's got a blue bug coming in so I can grab the wing and rear bumper which would be awesome! Will they tell the body shop guy to go crazy and mint the car :)
  25. Engine cradles, top is mine and you can see the bracket in top left is bent. No surprise really looking at how weak it is compared to the sti cradle that's underneath. Well chuffed! Went Subaru parts shopping, got most of the stuff I need. Fitted new engine cradle and got steering rack back on, tomorrow fit sub frame and new cv joint then take it out on the road to check everything is straight. Its promising because wishbone bolts went straight in :). Oh and got some Prodrive speedline alloys 18" ;).
