Going to be a very quiet afternoon at work so I think it's time to get the hoover out and clean the inside of my car :) . Been looking at cleaning products for the car, clay bars and so on... I'm getting sucked into the idea of spending hours minting the bodywork :P

That's pretty funny, did your foot happen to press a little harder when you saw her coming up? ;) I think a lesson will be learnt there.

Finding it quite amusing that I end up battling with the same cars every week, had the focus behind me thinking about overtaking again but didn't bother. Had my car washed yesterday, felt lazy so paid someone to do it ;) . Been pressured into getting a 125cc bike, so now looking at passing my CBT and so on. Quite like the idea of a cheap bike to run to save miles on the Subaru :) . Could then use Subaru for pleasure only (not that it's never pleasurable driving the Subaru).

Wonder how long until you can't read the sticker on the alloy ;) . Very nice car that!

That's one clean looking car Pete, very impressed :) I haven't done anything today, been enjoying the sunshine. Had a BBQ, been on a bike ride, drank some beer... the usual!

Sorry to hear about this. Weird thing is this happened to my Subaru (when my brother first got it)... we went out on a drive and an almighty racket came from the rear, he limped it home, stripped it to find that the ABS ring had destroyed the mechanism in the drum. He ended up buying a complete new drum I believe. Could be wrong though, it was 3 years ago lol. Hope you get it sorted :)

Been out for a drive taking my mother to various Garden places, lovely cruising round in this 20c heat! Best moment is when I stopped to let a car reverse a trailer onto his drive down a country lane, quite obvious what I was doing yet this Vectra (yes another one) overtook me and then realised he couldn't get past... there was 20 cyclists waiting on the other side all shaking there heads. When space appeared he floored it, I revved my engine ready and the cyclists kind of gave me a respectful nod as I floored it after him with my mother screaming in the passanger seat lol. Nothing interesting happened though as he turned off after a couple of minutes. Time for alchohol and sun, chat later guys! :D

Had an interesting moment on the way home today, was really annoyed I left my GoPro at home... A vectra was really annoying me, getting really close at 60mph and I knew there was a good straight coming up. So slowed down on the corner, put it in 2nd and sure enough he went for the overtake. The look on his face was priceless when I put my foot down... he hadn't even got 1/4 along my car before he was left in the dust. Sure enough he stayed well back after! (Subaru 1 - 0 Vectra) Might have to start clocking wins and defeats in this thing ;)

I have a suction cup mount for my GoPro so I can stick it nearly anywhere on the car :)

Yeah that's what I thought, easy to adjust the camera, turn it on and off as well. Wasn't sure if it would work but now I've seen what it looks like I think I will use that view all the time now :)

Always good having a sensible head, it's not like you don't own a subaru :P . Even my niece loves the Subaru, she's 7 and when I boost it she goes "Subaru powerrrr" haha. Will have to set up a cam to capture it at some point ;)

Here is a video of the roads I went on last night, I just clipped together some interesting bits. Also tried out a new camera angle (first couple of clips).

Mine are Dare ST 17" with crap tyres atm... Wouldn't advice Federal as they do NOT grip in the wet lol. The offset should be standard with standard suspension.

Speaking of Focus, I had the same lad behind me this morning in his Focus that overtook me a few weeks back... sure enough he didn't bother trying to overtake even when I was doing 50 and it was a lovely long clear straight. I'd say he's learnt his lesson :P

Nothing better than showing up someone who acts like that, even better when they spent £18k on the car ;) . That's what I was going to buy before I was offered the Subaru for good money! Better having a dream car than just something you settle for I say. (200bhp with overboost activated btw ;)).

Been out for a fantastic drive through the hills, got some videos so will have a look through and edit something together :)

Loving the stories Dog! It's all been quiet for me, just a moment this morning when I was on a long straight with nothing coming the other way... I was behind a tractor and two cars, none of which wanted to overtake this tractor. So I took them all in a matter of seconds :) . May have an interesting video later on tonight depending on if I'm driving or not, going mountain biking for the first time this year! If my brother backs out I'm going in the Subaru and there are fantastic roads up to Gisburn :D
